Update...This card was a Runner Up at Seven Hills Crafts-Thrilled, thank you very much x
I have had these gorgeous Concord & 9th Die cut flowers for a little while,
so thought I'd actually use them!
The sentiment..also never used is from Altenew Oriental Orchid stamp set.
I was inspired to use the colours from Seven Hills Craft Colour Challenge
I have used the Centre colours...Yellow, Blue and Grey....
I wasn't sure of the colours at first but was really pleasantly surprised when the card was finished.
I started by die cutting the flower and using this as a stencil.
I coloured through the stencil using Brusho's, which I love.
They played nicely together ....To my amazement!
The Brusho's give you the most unexpected colours, like the grey one.
I splattered the card using the three same Brusho colours.
I popped on the three die cut flowers, stamped the sentiment and added the three sequins.
I finished off with stamping a mixed media stamp from STAMPlorations around the two edges
and heat embossing with Aurora Blue Steel Embossing powder...again never used.
This gave the most gorgeous blue/black/steel effect.

Another gorgeous card Mac. These dies look great and I think that they work perfectly with the bold font. The Altenew stamps are fabulous and they really make a statement on the page. LOVE your design Mac! Great idea to stencil through the solid with brushos and then add the die-cut outlines on top. Looks amazing and so artsy ... especially in blue, yellow and gray. AWESOME colours together. And that embossed edge is so cool! You have really embraced a lot of mixed media products and techniques. You're having fun with them ... can tell from your posts. :) Thanks so much for sharing at CAS Mix Up! xx

Mac this is stunning! I love these flowers. And adding splatters and sequins is always a godd thing:) Wow!
I am averting my eyes. Not because I don't like it, but because I'm so infatuated with those sketchy flower die cuts that I'm afraid my crafty brain is going to force me to buy them. I just LOVE this design. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us at STAMPlorations!
Really like this :) I think these colours work so well behind the die cut flowers and really make them pop. Thanks for playing seven hills crafts challenge.

WOW, that's pretty!
Brusho's give such vibrant colors, I am still trying to understand how they react, and all do's and dont's. Your card is great, soft grey balances so well lemon yellow and turquoise! - Sweet Kobylkin
