Thank You....

This card took me out of my comfort zone with water colouring.....
I am so thankful for challenges to inspire me to give it a go....

This is my 'Off The Edge' Card.....

The flowers have been stamped and heat embossed with platinum embossing powder
and then coloured with Lindy's magicals, activated with water.
I shaded them  a little further with a coloured pencil.

The background stencilling has been done with silver acrylic paint.
I used the matching die to make my 'Off The Edge' Card.
Finishing with triple embossing the swirly die cut sentiment.

CAS Mix Up challenge is Water colouring and 'Off The Edge'
AAA CAS cards is 'Along The Edge'
The flower Challenge is 'Use a Sentiment'
I would love to join  in with my card....

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Joanna,

Texture and Some....

New crafting goodies arrived this week and had so much fun playing with them.

Here is my Tag......

The Tag was inspired by the challenge mood board over at 13@arts
My starting point was the vintage book pages, the door and the blue pattern.

I applied white gesso and strips from an old dictionary to the die cut tag.
White embossing paste and two stencils were used for the door and the tiles.
Lots of structure grit paste and crackle paste was scrapped on randomly.
I used white embossing paste through another stencil onto tissue for the sentiment.
Various inks, sprays and acrylic paints were used,
knocking them back with white heavy gesso.
Finishing off with splats and hi-lighting some of the texture with a hint of gold wax.
Thank you for finding the time to stop by, I really do appreciate it.
Hope you are all keeping well and safe?

Tone on Tone

Today's card is a mix of stencils and medias to achieve a Tone on Tone effect....

Here is My Card.....

Distress inks where used, along with two stencils.
Embossing paste and Crackle paste where also used.
The embossing paste helps with the tone on tone effect,
as it soaks up the colour underneath and gives another layering and tonal effect.
I finished off with a strip of foil and a sentiment stamped in brown
and heat embossed with white on top.

Stay Awesome My Friend

My dear blog friend Nancy has a 'Special' Birthday today and Loll,
also a dear blog friend is hosting a fun Linky Birthday Party for her....

This is the card I made .......

I used Alcohol inks, die cutting, foil, stamping and heat embossing.

I know Nancy enjoys mixing the medias and using techniques x.
A fun little thing happened when I was triple embossing the heart....
A blob of the melted powders fell off the end and I used it at the base of the flower,
as it looks like a copper pearl......

A card Made With Love.....

Hope you have a lovely day and you are being spoilt?
Thank you for your friendship Nancy, which I truly appreciate and cherish x.

Sending hugs and Love.....

Autumnal Hugs

I was inspired by the sketch  at CAS(E) This sketch
and the Leaves theme over at Just Us Girls
to make Today's Card.......

Isn't this a pretty sketch?...........
I had fun playing with lots of Autumnal colour alcohol inks
and the new to me Pearl ones.
I die cut lots of very small leaves.
The sentiment strip has been heat embossed several times,
finishing off with chunky copper to add more dimension.
Two of my dear blog friends are on each of the design teams
and I had fun playing along this week x.
Thank you for the inspiration ladies x.

CAS Mix Up September Guest Designer

Super thrilled and delighted to be the guest designer over at CAS Mix Up Challenge
This months challenge is Embossing with Dies.
The creative and friendly design team have tons of inspiration over on the site
and there are video links too, to inspire you further.......

This is my card.......

I have used stamping, embossing with dies and my choice is die cutting.
I used the leaf die to emboss onto foil card and coloured it with alcohol inks.
I also die cut the leaf out of white cardstock to lay on top of the foil.
This gave a real 3D effect as if it was pushing through the white layer.
I also embossed the sentiment die onto the foil
and dripped alcohol inks into the indentations.
Finishing off with stamping and heat embossing the cute little hearts.

I loved stretching my dies further by embossing with them
and thank you so much for the honour of guesting with you this month......x
I hope everyone is keeping well?
Thank you so much for finding time to stop by my blog,

Seashells, Lindy's and Texture

Whilst I had my texture sand paste out and My Lindy's from last weeks card,
I made another one to join in Lindy's Challenge......A first for me.....

This is my card....

I went with the three colour choices and used Lindy's Magicals and Sprays
I made the seashells from moulds, using modelling clay.
They where coloured using Magicals in Bonjour Butter and Clam Bake Beige.
I coloured the embossing paste with Magicals in Clam Bake Beige,
Creme Brulee Cream, Tilt-A-Wheel Teal and Bachelor Button Blue
to use with the wavy stencil on the background.
By varying the amounts of the Magicals I got four shades of blues.

The tops of the Sprays where unscrewed and I used a paint brush directly into them
to colour the textured embossing sand paste.
I finished off with stamping and heat embossing the sentiment
and around the edge of the textured Seashell and beach square.....

I had lots of fun making the seashells and then using my Lindy products
to colour the elements to make my little textural beach scene.
Thank you so much for finding time to stop by....

Textured Beachy Scene

Lots of wonderful Beach themed Challenges to inspire me.....
CAS MIX Up Watercolour Challenge is Beach......
Allsorts Challenge is Summer Fun......
Country View is all about being beside the seaside....
and The Male Room is celebrating their 7th Birthday......

This is My Masculine.... Watercolour and Textural Card.........

Textural sand paste was popped on to add dimension.
I used Lindy Magicals, activated with water
and Lindy Sprays, using a brush directly into the bottles.
The seagull and the driftwood where die cut.
So that the gull didn't feel left out I added dimension to him too using heated
and chunky frantage.
I finished off with stamping the Birthday sentiment.
I loved all the texture and dimension and the different colours from the Lindy's.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, I really do appreciate it....
