Glorious Flowers

I have been inspired by a few challenges to make two cards.
It is so good to be creating again....
I have used the same stamped flower in both of the cards

Card Number 1

Alcohol Inks, Stamping, Fussy Cutting and lots of Copper Heat Embossing.

This card was made for a dear neighbour who has been self isolating
but remains cheerful and upbeat and I thought the sentiment was perfect for her.

Card Number 2

Stamping, Fussy Cutting, Vellum, Stencilling, Splats and Heat Embossing

Two very different designs for two very different occasions.
In these uncertain times it is good to be able to craft
and to share with my blog friends.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog.....I really appreciate it.

Journey .....

This is my second post today...
I really want to participate in a challenge that is ending shortly....

City Crafter is Celebrating their Sixth Birthday!
Their challenge is to CASE a card from the Design Team...
I have attempted to CASE Ros's card.....CASE Number 3
I am a big fan of her work and I think it's wonderful to get the opportunity
to 'Copy/CASE' her card x
So here's my project.....
and Here is Ros's card......
My starting point was the mesh looking metal behind the image.
I die cut the the distress collage die from Memory Box to represent this.
The background has been blended with blue distress inks.

I was inspired by the die cut leaves, so using Memory Box leaf dies
I cut them out of black card and vellum.
The flower is a two part die, also by Memory Box.
I die cut the line flower twice, to use as a stencil.
The embossing paste has glitter in it for a little bit of bling.
The background has been splattered with water.
After assembling the card I finished off by stamping
the sentiment and popping on a few sequins.
The reason that I made a notebook was that I will be going on holiday in May
and wanted a notebook to take with me.
I love the textural feel of it and I know it will get bashed around a bit but that's OK with me.

So glad I was able to CASE the card and make the notebook out of it...

It's Your Big Day

Smile and Confetti
When I first bought this stamp, which was ages ago it made me smile!!
The stamp is called...'Going to The Church' but when I saw it I thought it looked like they where running away from the Church and has always made me smile!!!
In the interest of a Happy ending I decided to make the card as a
Wedding card and incorporated the Confetti Crush challenge.

After stamping the image and cutting out the circle I added distress inks to colour the vellum disks, all to represent the tumbling confetti.
I liked how the vellum and the distress inks looked.
I popped on a tiny bit of glue glitter to the cherubs wings
and a simple sentiment to finish.

I am glad there was a happy ending and I had fun with making this card
and using this stamp at long last x
