Off The Edge

       LOVE
I would like to thank the team at IndigoBlu for inviting me
to be guest designer this month.
I feel honoured and delighted to join them.
I have always been a huge fan of IndigoBlu and I am still amazed and thrilled
to have won their last challenge.
The challenge this time at IndigoBlu is 'Off The Edge'
This is the card that I have made...Hope you like it?
The blue background of the card has been made with alcohol inks, the cling film technique
and using the diamond stencil from IndigoBlu

The Big Butterfly stamp from IndigoBlu has been stamped and embossed
with white embossing powder, ‘Off The Edge’ of the blue background card.

The word ‘Love’ has been die cut with glossy accents added on top.
I had fun, tried new techniques to me and
now have lots of ‘trial’ (mistakes) backgrounds to use at a later date!
Thank you once again for giving me this opportunity
and thank you for your fabulous, continuous inspiration
from your very talented Design Team.

A Touch of RED

IndigoBlu Challenge
IndigoBlu's challenge this month is A Touch of RED
Update...I was lucky enough to win the challenge and I am absolutely delighted and thrilled
The theme of the challenge inspired me to make this card
I stamped white card using the IndigoBlu vintage Flourish Stamp
in Black and Grey Archival Ink
I die cut and layered the card up with small black card frames
and popped on a dotty ribbon, die cut butterfly, diamante's and Red Rose
Finishing off with the birthday sentiment
I also stamped the Flourish stamp on the inside and on the back of the card
I love Mono cards but the red pop of the rose just adds another dimension to the card
I loved making this card using the gorgeous and high quality IndigoBlu stamp

Celebrate in Style

Pretty in Pink - Ribbons N Bows
Just my sort of colours.....
I was inspired by the challenges mentioned at the end of my blog to do this card.
I made lots of attempts at the background using Distress inks, stains and paints in various shades of Pinks.
I am quite new to this technique but love how they all turn out so differently.
Once I was happy with my background I stamped white flourishes and Pink Butterflies and there's a Pink 21 in there too, but it is difficult to see on the photo.
I stamped the Lady and The sentiment in Black Archival Ink.
I masked the lady's dress and sprayed a gold mica mist over the dress area, just to make it stand out a Little more and to add some sparkle.
I popped on a pretty black die along the edge of the card, a pretty Black Bow and a few Pink round sparkly embellishments.
Lastly, I made a sparkly heart and a distressed looking key out of UTEE and molds and attached them to the card.
I mounted the card onto a Black mount to frame the card and and then onto Smooth White card.
I loved doing the card and was really happy how it turned out, hope you like it too?

I now have lots of backgrounds to use on another day.
I love Pink and girly things and was pleased to see these challenges, which I knew I would really enjoy doing xx
I was inspired by the Allsorts Challenge - Pretty in Pink
and the Stamping Sensations Monthly Challange - Pretty in Pink
and the Crafty Ribbons Challange - Ribbons N Bows and have entered my card into the three challenges

Rangers Distress inks, stains and paints in various shades of pink
