Thinking of you all and Stay Safe x
Here is Today's card.....
CAS Mix Up Challenge this month is Acrylic Paints and CAS Stencil is Heat Embossing...
My choice for CAS Mix Up is die cutting.
I tried the fun acrylic pouring technique.........
The piece I did was not good, but once I die cut the splat from it I thought I could use it.
I used 3D Clear gel through the stencil and silver embossing powder
and before it dried heat embossed it, which left a grungy, bubbly and dimensional effect.
I left in one piece of the fall out from the leaf shape die and popped on more embossing powders
and heat set for a really textural effect.
Finishing off with more random heat embossing and stamping the text vertically.
I had fun with the acrylic pouring and heat embossing with a stencil.
Happy 4th Birthday to the wonderful team over at The CAS Mix Up
and thank you for all your fabulous inspiration and fun challenges.

Now that is the coolest result I've ever seen with an acrylic pour!! Love the marbly effect and your extra details you've captured inside of your leaf shaped die! You always help me to see medias in different ways my friend! Thanks for sharing!! HUGS
Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
What a AWESOMELY AMAZING piece of art.... if I wasn't stuck indoors I'd be round burgling you to get my grubby mitts on it (I'd wear gloves so as not to transmit anything....LOL)
I am really happy that you have joined my CAS Stencil Heat Embossing challenge Mac, and thank you so much for being such an inspiring creative artist! x
Wow, you never cease to amaze me with your cards Mac. This is just wonderful. I watched a couple of videos on acrylic pouring the other day and decided I would never master it, but even though you were not happy with your effort you managed to transform it into a spectacular card. I love the grey and silver and all the shininess of the embossing plus the sentiment is very apt for the card. xx
This is so unique and lovely. What a cool technique pouring is and using it to die cut was inspired. I love this artsy look.
Oh my gosh, this is so fabulous. Love it.
Fabulous technique and design
Hugs Diane
I knew this month’s CASMU challenge would be right up your alley. Your card is so eye-catching... very artsy and unique. Brilliant idea to cut down your dirty pour piece. Stay safe and healthy.
You've done it again your creativity in making something out of "nothing" is astounding. This is an amazing piece of art, I could see this in a large frame in an elegant interiors store for thousands of pounds! Can you tell I LOVE it.

OMGosh Mac, I though this was a piece of jewellery, it is an absolutely stunning card. What an amazing technique, love the colours too. Your artistic ability is wonderful, Kate x
Oh, what a fabulous card!!! Very artistic and beautiful! I could stare at it for days for it is so interesting...well done!!!
What a beauty, Mac. I like that you love trying different techniques. The acrylic pouring looks great on this fabulous card.
Oh my gosh, Mac ... this is STUNNING! Something about the monochromatic design with the hits of shine. Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up and CAS Stencil! xx
What an elegant looking design you have made using the silver. I love the splatters too. Take care and stay well.
WOW! You always amaze me, Mac! This is awesome! Love all that thick silver with the delicate cut of the leaf! Leaving in the bit of pop out piece and adding more embossing makes this even more interesting. It's definitely a card to be touched! You stay safe and healthy too, my friend!
OMGosh Mac, this is just amazing! I love the colours, so classy. xx
What a wonderful feast of silver!! And a fabulous mixture of textures with the stencilling, heat embossing, acrylic pouring, and die cutting - truly a piece of mixed media art!
Wow, and more wow, absolutely amazing and the heat embossing makes it all look so like a metal object...you are very clever and artistic.x
I'm nearly lost for words!!! That is one amazing save! The marbling is fantastic and I love the silver embossed lines. Brilliant! Thanks for playing with us at CAS Mix Up:)
you always amaze me with your artsy effect on paper. Mac this is a stunner. I wish I could spend a day playing with you :)
Oh my goodness - silver monochrome magnificence! I've seen some pouring videos on youtube - is that what you mean for how you made this? Very very cool splat - and I just love how you've focussed the attention in on the leaf shape and given structure with the vertical lines. Somehow it all reminds me of a music stave too - with the notation lines (though they're vertical rather than horizontal) and the swirling leafy veins are reminiscent of a treble clef. In any case, I've thoroughly enjoyed examining this shimmering beauty. Amazing work as always.

I love the monochromatic look and all the textures. This is really a lovely card. I haven’t done any paint pouring. Sometimes I decide not to try a trend just because of the space it would take to buy the supplies. Be well!
Artsy, unique and amazing how a "blunder" can become so beautiful!
WOW - picking my jaw up off the keyboard - Mac this is amazing - loving the silver over the paint pour die cut. Another stunning work of art.
Stay safe
Blessings

Wow..Wow...Wow!!! Gorgeous artsy heat embossed stenciling background and love your fussy cut acrylic pour Splat! How genius to leave a piece of your die cut leaf in place and heat emboss. Wonderful monochromatic design too. I am so impressed, my friend! Hugs and stay safe, Mac. TFS and joining us at CAS Stencil.
Thank you for sharing your incredibly artsy and creative heat embossed and acrylic pour stenciled beauty, Mac. So pleased you joined us at STAMPlorations Stencil. Love and Hugs..Nancy
Gaspingly gorgeous, Mac ... what a beauty! I love the crisp silver and white ... and all that texture and dimension is just stunning! Another piece (cause it's not just a card, it's art!) that deserves to be framed and in a gallery! Stay safe ... hugs, Anita :)
Shiny! I really like how the arch of the leaf moves into the direction of the spatter at the top. Elegant as always.
Gorgeous, love it. Happy creative weekend, Angela xxx
There's always that 'extra' bit of brilliance in every card you create M and it shows here with that awesome splat and die cut then the extra darker powder given this a sensational look. Always so much to look at.
PS Congratulations on being TOP PICK at CAS Mix Up and Stencil last month. A Twofer win for you.
Wow, this is amazing, Mac! (Do I say this every time I visit your blog?) I LOVE this artsy acrylic pour card! The outline leaf over the splat-shaped die-cut acrylic pour is so eye-catching and unique. The silver heat-embossing creates an interesting effect. And how cool you stamped the sentiment vertically next to the vertical lines! Thank you so much for celebrating with us with your fantastic card!
Hideko xx
Oh my goodness Mac, I can't begin to express how truly unique, beautiful and special this card is. You are an artist. Thanks for joining us at CAS Mix Up! xx
Mac, amazing card! A wonderful technique of pouring acrylic, it seems to me too difficult to keep in check. I'm sure that after such a test my craftroom would look like after the war :-) However, your attempt was brilliant, I love all the details of the mosaic visible in close-up. The silver leaf looks like a treble clef on a staff ... I don't know if it was intended, but it is shocking to me. Thank you for another lesson on how to make CAS cards
Hugs,
BożenA
Wow Mac your card is awesome, love every design element, so artistic. Thanks for joining us this month at CAS Mix Up.
OMG!!!! This looks amazing. I have yet to try the acrylic pour, it seems like you've mastered it.
I love everything about this card .... the colours, the techniques you've used, the layout, the detail and texture, it all mixes together perfectly. Thank you for playing along with the CAS Challenges. Stay safe and well my friend xx
I mean, seriously? You are amazing, Mac!! If you don't frame this and put it on your wall, it will be a waste of a unique and extraordinary work of art!! SUCH the winner in my book of all these challenges you've entered!! Hugs, Darnell
Wow - a beautiful piece of art here Mac - it's a pleasure just to gaze at it for a while to appreciate all the swirls and textures! x
Another artistic masterpiece, Mac!
Your card is fabulous. I love this technique. You are so creative!
What a fabulous creation Mac, you always come up trumps with your clever designs and techniques. The die cut acrylic pour gives a fantastic look to the splat and the beautiful embossed leaf with the extra bit of embossing on the inlaid area is stunning, and I love the vertical embossed thin stripes and sentiment. Totally gorgeous!! x
The focal point definitely played a trick to my eyes, at first glimpse I thought it was treble cleff! What a fabulous technique you have created. Love it! Thank you for playing along with us at STAMPLorations Stencil March Challenge and best of luck.
