Maple Leaf Stencilling

Today's card was inspired by the wonderful Loll....Who needs no introduction x.
For the mid month inspiration post Loll did a fun technique, which I was keen to try.
I loved the idea of the background not being black.
If you want to see CAS at it's best pop over to Loll's Blog.....

Here is my card....

I used a maple stencil and Lindy Magicals for the water colours.
I popped on transparent paste through the stencil and let it dry completely.
I then sprayed the whole card with 'Dark Chocolate Truffle' from Lindy's.....
Wiping away the spray from the resist of the paste.
I loved how the gold from the spray pooled around the stencilling.
I attached the panel to foam and heat embossed the edges with gold.
I finished off with stamping the sentiment three times to represent
The CAS Watercolour celebrating their third birthday....Where does time go? x

I would like to say at this point that I had intended to cut the panel in half
and make two cards........ I loved it so much I couldn't!
To try and keep it CAS I made a larger card.........!
Happy Birthday to the very creative Design Team over at The CAS Watercolour x.

Photographing the bling from the Lindy's was hard so squinting a little might help!......
Thank you Loll for the inspiration x
Challenges I would love to enter....
The CAS Watercolour - Maple Leaf
Watercooler Wednesday - Helen's All about Occasions Challenge
Always a fun challenge to enter
Stamplorations Stencil Challenge - The stencil and the stamps are by Stamplorations
You do not need to use their products to enter their fun challenge
Uniko - Anything goes with the option of Autumn, which I have used this time
Take it Make it Challenge - Anything goes so long as you include stamping

I like the pooling gold, too, my friend... and you are right: beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!
You are so smart to add white space by enlarging the card - I'm going to file that idea away for another CAS challenge! xx
