Monochromatic Mushrooms

I have been playing with a fun technique for today's Monochromatic Mushroom card....
I have used one colour of Bistre powder, activated by water
and wrapped in cling film for the technique.
I also used mica powder in the water and also on the card to produce a really pretty effect.
Hard to show but it is there.....
I stamped the Rubber Dance Mushrooms on two sheets of card
so that I could have a contrast with the background and the mushrooms.
I also cut the mushrooms up so the tops where different from the bottoms.
The mushrooms have been popped onto foam for dimension
and to make them the focal point.
Such a fun and unique effect with the technique.

Challenges I would love to enter
CAS Watercolour challenge - Monochromatic
Take it Make it Challenge - The Craft stamper - Anything goes so long as you include stamping
Stamplorations CAS Challenge with the option of a shade of brown
Country View - Hand stamping must be the focal point
Rubber Dance Challenge which is over on their facebook page

Well, you have done it again. This card is just fantastic, I can imagine it is even more stunning in real life with that shimmer. I don't know how you come up with the ideas for your cards, they are always so unique. The monochrome look gives it something extra and I love that sentiment, I am doing that all the time. Sometimes I love it and sometimes I wish I could stop! I hope you are coping with all the rain or perhaps it hasn't been too bad where you are? xx
