12 Tags Of Christmas.....

I am thrilled and Delighted to be asked to Guest Design for this Fun yearly event,
organised by the lovely and creative Loll......
Why not hop across and join in the Fun.....
Your Christmas Tag can be
Mixed Media or CAS Mixed Media
Mixed Media is defined for The Challenge as Stamping....
Plus two Mixed Media elements....
Techniques and/or Products........

Here is My Tag.....

The tag has been crackled, painted, die cut, stencilled, stamped and heat embossed.
I had fun discovering you can use quite an intricate snowflake stencil,
over hessian with modelling paste and get quite a clean result.
For The Die Cut Poinsettia's I used crinkle paper and wax paper....
Stamping and heat embossing in white and using up my hoarded stickles and perfect pearls.
The Die Cut sentiment has quite a few layers of heat embossing on it
and I stamped the ribbon with the sentiment in brown, a first for me.
Finishing off with heated Frantage white embossing around the edges.

I am so looking forward to being stunned by the gallery
and being inspired by the other amazing guest designers.

Thank you so much Loll for inviting me to play along with this fun
Come and join in The Fun too......
I would love to enter the following challenges.....
Stamplorations Mixed Media - Which now includes cards too.
You must use a stencil in your project and mine is the snowflake stencil.

So many amazing layered elements on this beauty, Mac! I LOVE the burlap background. The crackle paste looks amazing and the white snowflake stenciled with white paste is gorgeous. Agree that it's surprising how crisp and clean the snowflake stenciling turned out. Your poinsettia are gorgeous cut from crinkle paper ... you'll have to give me more details about that! The white heat embossing and green edging with perfect pearls and glitter makes these flowers a work of art in themselves. So many amazing details ... I'm always in awe of your mixed media projects, Mac! Thanks so much for being a Guest Designer at the TTOC 2018! xx

Where to start with commenting on this? Overall it's a fabulous example of mixed media. Love the stenciled paste on the hessian - it turned out so well. And the crackle background is perfect with the rustic look of the hessian. I love the way you mixed the stickles and perfect pearls on the poinsettia. Amazing tag!

Oh wow, I love the burlap and the gold sentiment, but the pop of green on the flower is really the coolest part for me!

You simply amaze me with all your technical savviness dear Mac. This tag is no exception. So much attention to detail and yet not overwhelming. This piece is beautiful and full of brightness, and like the ribbon says, MAGIC!
Congrats on being a GD, you are the perfect candidate! xx

My jaw is STILL on the ground after seeing your tag M. Just where do I start? The crackle background lays such a brilliant backing for the hessian. Then you go and stamp snowflakes on it! Wowza. Your poinsettia's are so arty with the touches oh white and the blingy edges. When I saw your ribbon I though you had bought ribbon with the sentiment on it -should have know it was your doing adding the text. Your Believe die is the perfect finishing touches all heat embossed multiple time to give it that lift and sheen and the touches of green stickles. I too would love to have watched you make this amazing piece of art. Your tag is simply our of this world but then I have one to admire that I see every day when I walk into my playstation. I'm soooooooooo lucky!

I was sad to see there's no 12 Tags of Christmas with the Funkie Junkie this year, so I'm glad to see somebody is playing somewhere - congratulations on being invited to guest design, and what a treat you've offered up. From the shimmer of that crackled background to the vivid lime green sparkle - all balanced by the earthy kraft and burlap - this is a brilliant tag. Wow!

Congrats and well done on an amazing tag. I must try and join in with this if I can.

To answer your query about my little poppy cards. I made them for a group of friends I meet up with - just my little bit to commemorate and honour the occasion.
