There are lots of ways to use your Embossing Folders.
Here is my Card.....
I have used an embossing folder to dry emboss and then used it with modelling clay.
I have stamped and my choice is heat embossing and making an embellishment from clay.
The background has been dry embossed with a wood embossing folder
and then using modelling clay I pushed the clay down into the folder with my hand,
to create the impression, which gave me added texture and a 3D relief.
I waited overnight for it to dry then covered it in white gesso to match the card stock.
The dragonfly has been made with a mold and modelling clay
and when it was dry painted with platinum glittery paint.
I finished off with stamping the sentiment onto vellum
and heat embossing in platinum embossing powder.
Another fun challenge and there is so much you can do with your embossing folders...
Have fun and I am looking forward to seeing your amazing creations in the gallery x
Challenges I would love to enter.........

Wow Mac, your creation is gorgeous so full of texture! Love how you've used the embossing folder again with the clay to make that beautiful dragonfly stand out even more!! Thanks for sharing! HUGS
WOW! WOW! WOW! LOVE the layered look of your wood grain embossing Mac. So clever to use modeling clay. Now we'll all be heading shopping for some clay! :) So very cool! And so elegant with the white on white with glittery silvery dragonfly and sentiment. Amazing design!! xx
Absolutely fabulous design, love the wood grain background and lovely silver dragonfly and text.

Your embossed card is not a simple embossed card. This is another amazing use of the embossing folder. I would not think to use it as a form for sculpture :-) Once again, you knock out creativity with us, Mac :-) Thank you

Modeling clay, huh! You always come up with the most amazing things! I guess the clay does not get completely brittle, otherwise mailing would be an issue. But you don't have to mail this - you may just frame it! Thanks for having me as your GDT!
Where's my clay, Wow Mac that card is stunning. The white embossed clay on white embossed card is amazing and that touch of colour with your dragonfly is the icing on the cake :)

I am so impressed!! I never would have thought of using modelling clay in an embossing folder. I love how it complements the dry embossing with the folder, yet is so different. And I am in love with the beautiful glittery platinum dragonfly. A totally fabulous card!
So classy & creative, Mac--love this! Using the clay this way was genius!
Wow, Mac, who would think about using modelling cray to make a layered piece over the dry embossed card base! It's so interesting to see that the woodgrain patterns line up but the textures are different! The silver dragonfly is another piece of art! Love the cool color combination of platinum and white!
Hideko xx
This is incredible, the delicate match of the embossed card with the silver dragonfly. Reminds me of working with silver jewellery clay. A stunning piece of art that surely needs to be much more than a card.
Amazing artwork.

This is fabulous Mac and love that platinum dragonfly you have made with a mould, just so bright and pretty, together with the modelling clay pushed into the embossing folder for extra interest and dimension, and I love the little dots leading to the lovely sentiment, and all matching beautifully with the embossed background too.
