CAS Mix Up November Challenge Reminder.......

Half way through the challenge and time for some more inspiration.
Bonnie is hosting the fun challenge, which is Embossing Folders.

For more information, videos and inspiration pop across to The CAS Mix Up Challenge.....
Thank you too to the very creative Cornelia for being our Guest Designer this month.....
Here is My Card.....
I have used an embossing folder, Stamping and my choice is Layering Embossing,
Stencilling, Pearl glue and Die Cutting.
The relief on the left has been done with a stencil and modelling paste.
The dry embossed rectangle has been hi lighted with pearl glue around the edges.

The Sentiment has been die cut and heat embossed with many layers of embossing powders.
I then used the pearl glue to fuse the Love sentiment onto the rectangle to look as one....
The rose has been stamped and lightly water coloured in pink and then fussy cut.
Finishing off with the pearl glue around the stamped edges.

I Loved the challenge of using an embossing folder
and hope to see your wonderful creations in the gallery, which is open until the 24th x.
Challenges I would love to enter........

Your thick embossing is just beautiful on your word and rose Mac - love the subtle stencil blends right into the embossed roses on your panel - and the soft pink adds a lovely touch of light color to your design! Julia xx

Perfect selection of products for this elegant card!! The roses in your embossing folder and the delicate stencil add the perfect touch!! The addition of pearl glue around the edges and the soft pink color inside the rose was brilliant!! You did it again Mac!! Amazing : )

In all the time that our blogland community has been using embossing paste I still have not had any success in finding a product that I like! I wonder what modelling paste you like best.

AMAZING design, my friend! Love the pureness of the white-on-white with the pearl shine. I love the way you've layered and fused your love sentiment to the outline of the rectangle ... it really is seemless and looks like one piece. Love the rose dry embossed background and your beautiful pink rose at the star of the card. I'm always in awe with how you use products and layering together, Mac! You are a true artist, my friend! xx

Loving all your Pearl glue elements, Mac. Starting with your pretty dry embossed image and then flowing into your Pearl glue rectangle frame, Amazing sentiment and then Stunning Pearl glue outlined rose was so beautifully creative, my friend. I can not even imagine how time consuming the design process was, but well worth your work of art! TFS Hugs..Nancy

The mystery solved, Mac! ;-P (I was looking at the picture closely and wondering how you did the dry embossing from the left edge to the center rectangle.) What a fabulous idea to stencil the relief with modeling paste and perfectly sequenced the dry embossed panel! And all the parts are connected and outlined with pearl glue. I love the white on white effect with pearly shine. The pale pink rose is simply elegant and makes a subtle accent.

Sorry for not visiting recently Mac and I can see I have missed some real beauties. I love what you have done with the embossing folder here, and the techniques with the pearl glue and the triple embossed sentiment which you have made as one with that pretty softly coloured rose too is just heavenly, and the background texture paste through a stencil complements it perfectly. x
