CAS Mix Up July Reminder Post

Time for the reminder post for the CAS Mix Up Challenge

Fabulous inspiration in the gallery......
Such creative cards from the wonderful design team
and our guest designer Susan from The catsinkcorporated.
Pop across and take a look.....

This is my card......

I have coloured my die cuts with lots of different colours of Lindy Magicals and water.
I have stamped the sentiments and my choice is free hand drawing and water colouring.
You can see the shimmer of the Lindy Magicals in this picture.
I love how you get unpredictable colours.
Even though the die cuts are small I kept going until I got an artsy and wild looking effect.
The stems have been drawn in with a dipping pen and distress stains.
The sentiments have been stamped with the help of the Misti.
I die cut the poppies and then snipped the heads to use as I wanted
and individually coloured the small die cuts.

I have a designer paper that gave me the inspiration for the layout of my card,
as of course I am never going to cut it up x.

Thank you for stopping by
and I am looking forward to seeing your fabulous creations in the gallery.

Challenges I would love to enter....
Take it Make It Challenge - Anything goes but must include stamping
Stamplorations CAS Challenge
Country View Challenge - In The Summer Garden
That's Crafty - Close to Nature

This looks very like s Memory Box Poppy die that I have, but I would never have thought to chop the heads off and do this with them Mac. The drawn stems with the sentiments vertically up some of the stems looks great. A really pretty effect. x

Really lovely. The way you did the stems with the sentiments is a great idea and one I'd like to try. I hope you don't mind I've pinned the photo for inspiration.

Absolutely Magical shimmery poppy flowers using your Magicals, Mac. TFS the photo of your die cut set (Memory Box?) and photo of your individual poppy blooms. I clicked on both to get a much larger picture. I could really see the pretty shimmer on your flowers and the different colors. Such a creative CAS flower design by drawing your stems and added a few stamped sentiments. Wow! Hugs..

Mac, the little sentiments hidden in your flower garden are just the best. Very pretty flowers!

Do you hoard designer paper too, Mac? LOL! When you can come up with designs like this, you don't need designer paper, my friend! Gorgeous flowers and their stems are awesome!

I'm sooooooooooo glad you showed us the colours you used with those 'Magicals' I know I NEED more. Of course how clever you are to chop the heads of the poppies. I would never think of that. Thanks for enabling here M. Love the wiggly stems and sentiments. Certainly CAS but oh so stunning. Pure magic my friend.

How very clever of you Mac to use just the heads of the die cuts and to use them in this way. I love the way that you’ve used the words through the stems of the Poppies and your layout is superb. I really admire the way that you think out of the box to inspire us all, thank you. Crafty hugs, Sandra x
