CAS Card......Hero.......

HERO........................
Addicted to CAS challenge this fortnight is .......Code Word:Hero
I was inspired to make this card for the challenge.
Just Us Girls Challenge is Use Water Colour somewhere  in your project so that inspired me to use
Brusho's for the background and sprayed with water.
The Poppy has been die cut from black CS and I stamped in a few birds.
'Hero' made me think of Remembrance and Poppies symbolise that for me.
I initially left the sentiment off as I hoped the card spoke for itself and was more CAS
What do you think?...The sentiment is stuck on temporarily at the moment x
Thank you
Crafty Hugs x
I am entering The Addicted to CAS challenge .......
Code Word:Hero with this card.

The Brusho effect looks really lovely on your beautiful card. The card looks great with or without the sentiment. If it was me, I'd leave the sentiment off until I knew who was going to receive it, then add it if it's appropriate. xx

Wow, and you thought that my card was striking! This card is absolutely outstanding. I don't yet have any Brushos but they are definitely on my wish list now. I think the colours that you've used work perfectly with the subject matter and with that fabulous die cut poppy. I really like the initial burst of colour, in and around the poppy that then becomes tiny speckles. I think the card works equally well, both with and without the sentiment but for me, the sentiment gives the card more of a contemporary feel. x
