Off The Edge

       LOVE
I would like to thank the team at IndigoBlu for inviting me
to be guest designer this month.
I feel honoured and delighted to join them.
I have always been a huge fan of IndigoBlu and I am still amazed and thrilled
to have won their last challenge.
The challenge this time at IndigoBlu is 'Off The Edge'
This is the card that I have made...Hope you like it?
The blue background of the card has been made with alcohol inks, the cling film technique
and using the diamond stencil from IndigoBlu

The Big Butterfly stamp from IndigoBlu has been stamped and embossed
with white embossing powder, ‘Off The Edge’ of the blue background card.

The word ‘Love’ has been die cut with glossy accents added on top.
I had fun, tried new techniques to me and
now have lots of ‘trial’ (mistakes) backgrounds to use at a later date!
Thank you once again for giving me this opportunity
and thank you for your fabulous, continuous inspiration
from your very talented Design Team.

Spring Greens

           Thanks
I have used the 'Lollipop Tree' stamp and
the small flourish stamp from 'Poppy Meadow' stamp set
I die cut a circle out of paper and water coloured the background
onto water colour card with Distress Inks and a stencil.
I stamped the 'Lollipop Tree' firstly with a pearlescent lime pigment ink
as I wanted to create a shadow.
I then stamped the tree again with FlitterGlu and
used Megaflake Yorkshire Dales.
I die cut out the word 'thanks' out of water coloured card that I had colour washed.
I stamped the small flourish stamp with Green DI's, punched out into circles,
to carry the circle theme through and to give balance and dimension to the corner.
Hopefully the close up photo shows the shadow effect,
the shine from the flakes and mica and the dimension on the flourish circles?
