 Having fun with alcohol inks and bling on todays card......

I was inspired by the colours over at Colorthrowdown,
which are Blue, Green and Gold.
The photo also made me want to get out my alcohol inks and play.......

The alcohol ink splat has been die cut, inlaid into the card
and gold foiling for hi-lights.
The dragonfly has been stamped and coloured with Mica and water.
Finishing off with the stamped sentiment, gold paint splats
and gold heated edging.

My alcohol ink playing looked nothing like the photo in the end
but I sure had fun and I have got lots more 'experiments' to use up.

My Friend

 I am so lucky that the person I love most in the world is my best friend too....
Here is his card.......

The heart shape was masked before I did lots of stamping around it,
with a couple of 'splat' stamps....Let's just say I did it more than once!

I used a stencil for the large red splat and stamped the other one.

The hat has been stamped, fussy cut, embossed
and popped onto foam for a little dimension.
Finishing off with the sentiment and a couple of cute little hearts.

Plaid and Loving It

 Living in Scotland I always enjoy making cards with Plaid.
This is todays' card 

The Plaid background has been stencilled first
and then the Stag's stencilling on top.
I used a third stencil on top of the stag, with mini dots and clear embossing paste, 

to add a little dimension to my one layer card.

The colours of The Plaid are the recipients colours of their Tartan.
Finishing off with some white Nuvo Drops, mini splats
and the Birthday stamped sentiment.
I was Inspired by Three Challenges to make this Masculine Plaid card.
