I am so lucky that the person I love most in the world is my best friend too....
Here is his card.......
The heart shape was masked before I did lots of stamping around it,
with a couple of 'splat' stamps....Let's just say I did it more than once!
I used a stencil for the large red splat and stamped the other one.
The hat has been stamped, fussy cut, embossed
and popped onto foam for a little dimension.
Finishing off with the sentiment and a couple of cute little hearts.

I love this creative and grungy style Valentine, Mac! So clever to use some silver on the hat and echo it with the embossing on the edge of the mat. Really 'cool' and modern!

WOW! Both the card and the first photo are a masterpiece. I have no idea how you made this amazing hat, this puzzle makes it seem even more brilliant. In the first photo, the light illuminates the brim of the hat so that it looks like the light is falling from the side of the card towards the viewer. It is such an amazing feeling!

Wow this is awesome and so special, Mac! Your best friend hubby will love it! The combination of black and red is dramatic and a little silver is tastefully added to the edges. Love the way you used the spatters and splats, and the cool hat popped up in the center of the heart.
