Loads of Leaves

Two cards today using lots of die cut leaves.
This is my first card ......

I die cut lots of leaves and stacked them up onto watercolour card.
They where liberally sprayed with Lindy's Flat sidewalk white chalk spray.
I was looking for a plaster/chalky effect, which doesn't really show up in the photo.....
This is my second card.......

The die cut distressed frame and leaf have several layers
of heated copper embossing powder on them.
The Navy cardstock is an embossing Leaf folder, edged with copper.
A little heart with glossy accents and a sentiment strip to finish.

Twofers is asking for leaves this challenge so I am popping my cards over....
Two very different designs for two different occasions, using the same leaf die.....

Challenges I would love to enter.....
Twofer - Leaves - Thrilled with My shout out - Thank you

Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge - Sending Hugs
Watercooler Wednesday - Dawn's All about occasions Challenge
DiesRus Challenge #167 - All but one of the die cut leaves are Sizzix Thinlits

And using it spectacularly, Mac! I always learn something or you enable me and this time it's about Lindy's chalk spray. How delicious is that for someone to think up?! Well, I guess that would be Lindy and she would be amazed at the wonderful texture you achieved with your W-O-W design! Speaking of texture, you might know how much I love copper so I have to say your copper number took my breath away! That is truly a work of art for someone's wall! Thank you for playing in TCC #37! Hugs, Darnell

How incredible are YOU!! What a fantastic use of the leaves and palm frond to create two entirely different cards, Mac. I love both of them, and find it amazing every time I visit your blog that the combination of techniques and products WOWs me EVERY SINGLE TIME! Both are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing how you made these beauties! hugs, de

These are both fabulous. I love the white on white and am intrigued by the chalk spray, I can imagine the finish it gave your card even if I can't see it. Your second card is so special with that layered embossing, I do love that technique. You have been so clever making that background too. the copper and navy look amazing together and I love how you have used embossing to frame it too. what a brilliant twofer, glad you got in on time xx

Oh my gosh ... your leaf cards are gorgeous Mac! Love the elegant look of the white on white design with a bit of vellum. So pretty. The second card is dramatic with the dark card with copper accents. Amazing design on this. Something about the dark with copper just speaks to me. xx

Mac, there is something to love about each of your gorgeous cards! LOve the sweet innocence of all the white - and the dark drama that your gorgeous navy brings! and that COPPER! the layers of heat embossing have truly made it appear as an actual piece of copper - you could make a brooch!
Stunning, my friend! xx

This two cards are just perfect Mac. Both designs are as different as they can be with the same die cut leaves. The textured background on both is fabulous. The opposite of white "hugs" and navy blue and copper "just a note" is stunning. I like the little heart. Great detail. Thank you for joining us at TCC #37. Sonja

Both cards appear embossed in the embossing folder. It's hard to believe that in the first card you achieved this effect by gluing cut-out elements to the card. In the second tab, I like the beautiful contrast of copper to garnet. Great two cards, Mac

A wonderful Twofer, Mac! Especially the white on white card - love those stacked leaves! The copper embossing on the second card makes a striking contrast to the navy cs.

You blow us all away each post you share with us Mac. The white on white card is stunning and I love the way you have two different die cut sentiments. Lovely soft dotty background too.
The second card is just so breathtaking. The navy and copper marry together perfectly here. Swooning over the layers of embossing. Nice Mac touch with the copper surrounding the leaves and oh my heart! How beautiful is that wee heart you have melted so fine. A Twofer of awesomeness!

Amazing twofers, Mac! I LOVE the white on white die-cut leaves! The card looks like a plaque made of plaster.
The color combo, the texture, and the shine of the embossed leaf card is awesome! The little glossy heart is a really cute touch, echoing the heats on the sentiment strip. I truly love them both!!

Oh wow again! gorgeous cards and fantastic techniques. Bet you enjoyed die cutting the leaves, sometimes I do this when I'm stuck for ideas as I find the process quite restful. The colours on the second card just work so well and the first card just looks so clean but bet it's even better in real life with the shine you've added. Now I was going to do all sorts today then decided to clear out the drawer of my desk and .......yes it took almost half of the day to get it sorted, I am amazed how much stuff was in there! Have a lovely week. Hugs, Angela xXx

I don't know how I failed to comment on these two beauties Mac and congratualtions on being one of the picks too. I absolutely adore the navy and copper with that fabulous background embossing and the layers of copper heat embossing on the leafy frame and also around the edges of the EF and for the sentiment and sweet little hearts, and finished beautifully with the little heart covered in glossy accents, and then the other white on white card covered with the die cut leaves and sentiment is so pretty too and so different from the first...fabulous Twofers! x
