Glorious Flowers

I have been inspired by a few challenges to make two cards.
It is so good to be creating again....
I have used the same stamped flower in both of the cards

Card Number 1

Alcohol Inks, Stamping, Fussy Cutting and lots of Copper Heat Embossing.

This card was made for a dear neighbour who has been self isolating
but remains cheerful and upbeat and I thought the sentiment was perfect for her.

Card Number 2

Stamping, Fussy Cutting, Vellum, Stencilling, Splats and Heat Embossing

Two very different designs for two very different occasions.
In these uncertain times it is good to be able to craft
and to share with my blog friends.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog.....I really appreciate it.

Challenges that inspired me to make these cards are....

Twofer card challenge - Flowers                    Card No 1 and No 2
Thank you for the Honourable Mention-I appreciate it
CAS Mix Up - Splatters                                 Card No 2 - Birthday Card
The Flower Challenge - Embossing               Card No 1
AAA Birthday - A stencilled background      Card No 2 - Birthday Card
Seize The Birthday - Topping - Vellum          Card No2 - Birthday Card
Uniko Challenge - Anything Goes                  Card No 1

The copper embossing and the blue AI flowers are stunning (and the sentiment is immense!)
The softly painted delicate vellum is so pretty and I think your layout with it's stencilling and pop of blingy is just fab! xx

Aaah I've been popping over, every now and then, to see if you have posted anything new and at last! These are two gorgeous cards. I love the intensity of the blue and the contrast with the copper embossing. The vellum card is beautiful - I don't know how you hid the adhesive so well.

Whoever receives these beautiful cards is very lucky indeed. Your cards are definitely worth waiting for and although these two are very different I cannot choose a favourite. The black blue and bronze of the first one are fabulous and the alcohol ink helps it shine. The design of your second card just blows me away. I love that sparkly frame with the subtle stencilling and most amazing splatters. Those delicate flowers are gorgeous too. Thank you for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up this month. There are so many amazing entries I just don't know how I am going to choose the winners xx

I'll bet your neighbor will be framing her spectacular blue and copper gift, Mac, or at least leaving it on the mantel forever! You know you had me at copper, but the copper combined with that lustrous alcoholic blue is extraordinary! And your lovely vellum birthday card is equally a keepsake! I love cards that make me sit for long minutes just checking out all the incredible details and that's what these are. (I was going to say caressing with my eyes, but I know you run a family blog!) Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #34! Keep safe and take care! Hugs, Darnell

Swallow hard - concentrate and stare - WOW! your first card just pops off the screen, the gorgeous blues and the copper are made for each other, seems you knew that, a stunning and very impressive card. Your second card is another concentrate and stare - the vellum and the gorgeous white with a hint of pink? is also stunning, the flowers just curve off the page, a stunning stamp beautifully shown off. I could go on, but you know I LOVE your work Mac and always appreciate your dazzling work.
Keep safe

As always, your cards are spectacular! I would have never thought to pair blue with copper, but it’s striking especially against the black background. Your neighbour will definitely love it. Then you drew me in further with your elegant birthday card. Kraft and white cards are one of my favourites. Love the splatters.

Your cards are absolutely gorgeous. I love the pretty flowers on both. The colored version in the blue is awesome with the copper embossing. And, stamping in white on the vellum with just a hint of color looks so elgant as well. Great work on both of them.

The combination of colors in the first tab is stunning. The copper brings out all the blues even more, and I love how your flowers landed on the anthracite base. And the second card, Mac ... this card is like a breath of wind, like the brush of a butterfly's wing. I adore her !!!
I'm so glad you came back :-)

WOW both cards are marvel's. I've missed your fabulous posts but these were worth waiting for. I know how tricky it can be fussy cutting vellum the slightest slip with scissors or knife and the whole piece is ruined. and you have coloured it so delicately as well. What a contract to the first card, that is an explosion of exciting blue black and copper breath taking, it least it took my breath away. So pleased you found your way back to the craft room, now can we lock you in there! x

No idea how I missed this post, it's been a very difficult start to the year for me so glad to find comfort and inspiration from a blogging friend of quite some time. Both beautiful cards, nice to see the comparison from the dark and the light. I'm always amazed by embossing on black card it really draws the eye. The alcohol inks dress those flowers superbly. Beauties as always.
Hope you are keeping well?
