CAS Foiling....

Today's card was inspired by The CAS Stencil Challenge, which is Foiling.....
There are lots of videos and inspiration over on the blog as how to do this technique.
I used a Tim Holtz stencil and lightly blended some grey ink.
I popped through clear gel paste and waited overnight for it to dry.
The silver foil was activated with my laminator.
The flower was stamped and fussy cut, after splashing water colours on it.
My colour choice was inspired by The Paper Players colour challenge.
Finishing off with clear glaze on the flower and stamping the text.

I so enjoyed using foil with a stencil
and it really has the wow factor when you peel the foil off.

The weather today has been wild, so a day in the craft room has been wonderful.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

I am going to have to pin this. I. Love how you did the inking first and then only put the gel over part of the stencil. It adds so much to have two mediums in the same stencil. And your flower is just wonderful!

You say CAS, Mac, and I say "how beautifully artistic!" The foiling is exquisite (thanks for the multiple photos) and the stenciling and stamping are gorgeous. Your combination of elements always amazes me. Somehow you see the beauty of how each element will complement the others, and add just the right amount of design, leaving your "white space". Thanks for sharing the wonderful way you put things together. Hoping the weather has calmed down a bit. We've been pretty fortunate except for high winds and some frost. hugs, de
