You will be treated to stunning inspiration when you pop into her blog....
This is my card.....
I have used the Rubber Band Technique, Stamping and my choices are
embossing paste, stencil and die cutting.
This new to me technique was so much fun....
I wrapped a thin elastic band around an acrylic block, stamped randomly
with versa-mark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
I used several shades of grey ink and blended them, with a brush, over the white embossing.
The flower is a masked stencil, which I popped silver embossing paste through.
The sentiment has been die cut twice and I finished off with white acrylic splats.
If you have never tried this technique why not give it a go.
It produces some unique effects and you'll have fun trying.
Thank you Julia for this new to me technique, which I have loved.

xx

Cool monochrome, Mac ... this is so elegant and stylish ... the silver bloom is delicious against the rubber band embossed and sponged background! Not heard of this technique ... hope to try it and play along! Hugs, Anita :)
This is fabulous I love the neutral colors
Gorgeous and classy, Mac! Love the neutral colour tones, especially the shiny silver embossing paste. I need to get me some of that. 😂 Great job with the new-to-you technique. xx

Love those neutral colours, awesome effect with the band and splatters together.
Your stenciled flower really pops with all the shiny silver embossing paste, Mac. I Love how you chose a grey tone for your white space..so elegant and unique.
Stamping and heat embossing your Rubber band stamped background gave such beautiful texture without over powering your flower and die cut sentiment. TFS my friend. Hugs...
WOW! You have made this card so unique M with the lakky band technique and added that Mac touch with the beautiful floral stencil and splats. Love the big bold sentiment. Another stunner and so striking in the neutral colours.
Very eye catching Mac, love the soft grey feel and the pop of silver to highlight your double diecut sentiment
Wow - love how you used the technique on your beautiful design Mac! The silver embossing and stenciling make this so elegant and the black sentiment really pops off it - I like how you just used the bottom half of your card and the lovely gray! Julia xx
Beautiful card with the black, gray, silver and white. Love the interest from your rubber band embossing and softly brushed gray background. So pretty with the silver paste flower and splats, Mac. Very elegant card! xx
Such a cool monochromatic card using the rubber band technique, Mac! I love that you stamped the rubber band images only at the bottom (and part of left side) and gave an ink-distressed gradation look. The silver embossing paste flower and the black die-cut sentiment are so impactful!
Hideko xx
Love the great neutral colour scheme. Your rubber band background is fabulous and the white splatters are a great addition. The silver embossed flower is beautiful and the sentiment very striking.
This is stunning, Mac! Love the soft gray background with the lovely texture from the rubber bands! And that silver flower is so elegant!

What a fabulous technique, it reminds me of one I used to use in playgroup with paint during mark making time. I must try it with embossing ink. What an amazing card you have created and I adore those subtle colours.
