Hearts and Mistletoe

I wanted to share these cards today, just in time for Christmas...
I saw similar cards on Pinterest and used them as my inspiration.....
The background has been blended with distress inks.
The Mistletoe, the hearts, the bows and cute pegs have all been stamped.
I finished off with splattering with white acrylic paint, glossy accents
on the hearts and white novo drops.

Wherever you are this Christmas and whoever you are with
I wish you Peace, Happiness and Health x

Thank you so much for your generous and very kind comments in 2017.
They are so appreciated and here's to a Crafty 2018 x

Challenges I would love to enter.....
Stamping and my choice are splattering, ink blending and glossy accents
It's a challenge that I have learnt so much from in 2017 x

This is SO fun! What a great idea, and an awesome card! Your execution is terrific.
Love your Nuvo drops, I see you've mastered them without a pointy top -- me? not so much...

How completely different these cards are from your usual style M. I love the simplicity here with the snowflakes and nuvo drops. How awesome those red hearts are that just showcase this card beautifully.
I wish you a Guid New Year and will have a wee glass of homemade Irish Cream (has Whisky in so it is Scottish) with you at 10.00am New Years Day being midnight in Bonny Scotland.
Looking forward to seeing where your creative juices go in 2018. Hugs.

Just adorable, and I love your snow splatters. (I'd have had snow blobs!) makes the red hearts of the mistletoe show up splendidly and 3 cheers for Pinterest (and Youtube too!) I download a bunch of cards from Pinterest, then forget where I put them or that I have them stored in files. Glad if you got a good tip with using the sprays, micas or dylusions as a means to make the brusho-s bloom. It's really fun to watch. You can spray the plain w/color paper, then sprinkle, or wet it and sprinkle. It works either way, and you never get the same look twice! TFS & hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

These cards are sooo soft and pretty, Mac! And I noticed that they were a little bit different from your cards I'd seen this year. I love this simple and pretty style too. Your ink-distressed light blue background is so smooth and beautiful. I love the subtle/fine white acrylic paint splatters too! Thank you so much for your kind and warm comments on my cards this year. Wishing you a happy, healthy and crafty 2018! :-) Hideko x

How sweet and pretty Mac and I adore the line which extends beyond the topper with the three hearts and mistletoe hanging with the sweet little pegs, and what fabulous blended backgrounds with the acrylic splattered snow. The motif on the envelope is a lovely touch too. I hope you had a really good Christmas and I am so looking forward to seeing your beautiful creations throughout the coming year. x
