Sending Love and Hugs.....

Inspired by the sketch over at CAS(E) this sketch....
to make my card.....
The guest designer is TaeEun and she was inspired to do an alcohol ink background
and that was good enough for me.....
I rotated the sketch and this is what I came up with......
I enjoy playing with alcohol inks and learning how to control them a little better.
I used several colours, with blending solution and a puffer.
The vein leaves have been stamped and white heat embossed.
I have not heat set on glossy card before, in case it bubbles
but it played really well.
It took me ages deciding what to do with the 'end' of the sentiment strip.
Sequins, novo drops etc and in the end I stamped the end with the leaf...Happy...
I finished off with gold embossing powder around the edges of the card.
I enjoyed the sketch very much, as I thought it lent itself to the alcohol inks,
which I enjoyed x
Thank you so much for stopping by, I really do appreciate it.
Crafty Hugs xx
Challenges I would love to pop my card into....

I love your splotches of alcohol ink. They do look so artsy! The leaves are wonderful and I think you made the right choice with the sentiment strip. I am glad other people have a hard time making those choices too!

This is a real beauty Mac! Love your take on the sketch, it's almost like the sketch rotated your card! The white veined leaves look fantastic and the leaf tip at the end of the sentiment is perfect! Love this, Cathy x

I have trouble with alcohol inks on yupo if I stamp onto it after, must be doing something wrong as the stamping won't dry..xx[aNNie]🎄

This is so beautiful! The white leaves remind me of frost on a cold autumn day. Great job with the alcohol inks behind the leaves.

This is a winner in my book, Mac! Really stunning! I cocked my head to the left and love how it would look standing on its tent, too!! Hugs, Darnell

Wow! What control with the alcohol inks, Mac! I love how it made the shape of a leaf in the background and the white embossed leaves look like skeleton leaves! Beautiful! A perfect addition to the sentiment too!
