Believe.....

So enjoyed making this CAS card, glitter and all.....
The Muse Christmas Visions Challenge is featuring Cornelia's fabulous card.
I was first struck by the vibrant colours of the red and green, the design layout
and the bold sentiment with the green strip.

I used a 'new' stencil and red glitter paste for the poinsettia.
No mess and no shedding......
The green vertical lines have been stamped with the help of the Misti,
as my stamp was not long enough or wide enough....
The 'Believe' sentiment is also a stencil, using black embossing paste
and loose black glitter.....My black glitter gel wasn't black enough,
so there is glitter mess everywhere!
I finished off with stamping the rest of the sentiment, popping on some sequins
and gold stickles to the centre of the poinsettia, like Cornelia's gold star x

Thank you Cornelia for the wonderful inspiration......
And to Linda for enabling me to 'buy' the gorgeous Poinsettia stencil x

WOW! I love this big, red glitter poinsettia, Mac! And imagine not getting glitter all over to get it! Your stripes are amazing as even with the MISTI, I end up with a mess when trying to move it! The black glitter believe is well worth all the glittery mess! At least that kind of mess makes us sparkle! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at CAS Mix Up!

Beautiful glittery poinsettia - such a lovely rich red! And so nice to have a glittery embossing paste to avoid all that loose glitter (I still have some on my face for some reason - from crafting yesterday!). Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Mix Up!

WOW! Glitter in overdrive here M. Thought I had commented here but nope...
So you thought you would get away from glitter sticking to every nook and cranny! Better go buy some new black glitter gel for next time. That poinsettia is stunning. You have case-ed Cornelia's card perfectly. Love the green strip and that big black 'loose glitter' sentiment.

With glitter it's good to keep to a clean design, the image is all the more powerful against the white space. Beautiful, Mac, thanks for joining us at Country View Challenges this month!

Great take on Cornelia's card with the gorgeous poinsettia, Mac! I'm sure creating the green strips and black glitter sentiment took some time, but it's worth the effort. They look beautiful! Hideko :-)

That glitter paste looks amazing, what a great shiny flower! I like the lettering in the glitter too. I tried using some tinsel embossing powder on an image earlier this week and it got everywhere, and then I decided not to use it! Lol. SO at least you have glitter everywhere and a finished card!

Thanks for sharing your creativity!

You used a great card Cornelia, your colors are so vibrant and pulsating. You have been able to handle some of the shortcomings of your tools - the striped border is perfect. And I love your flower is shiny and at the same time gives the impression as if it were covered with velvet. Glitter glitter and velvet are excluded, but you have managed to combine these contradictory realities.
Hugs,
BozenA
