Sunshine.........

I have been playing with Alcohol inks these past couple of days....
This is my card.....
I was so inspired by Nancy's card that I want to try the technique for myself.
My jaw hit the ground when I first saw her amazing card x
I had never thought to use Alcohol inks through a stencil to colour the image.
So this was a first for me.
Yes they seep underneath, but that's what is so creative about it.
After the inks where dry I popped the flower stencil back on
and used 3D gloss medium to make the flower shiny.
The edges of the petals and the seeds where hi-lighted with a brown pen.
I was inspired to use Alcohol Inks from the wonderful CAS Mix Up Challenge.
If you pop over they have links to videos with inspiration to using these inks.

The Paper Players challenge is CAS and get colouring.
I have used Alcohol inks to colour in my image.... which is new to me
and a fun way to 'colour'...if not a little/lot unpredictable!

Thanks for stopping by...... I really do appreciate it.
Crafty Hugs xx
Challenges I would like to enter....
Stamping, Alcohol inks
and for me die cutting and gel medium through a stencil

I have missed quite a lot of your recent posts Mac but looking back I just had to comment on this absolutely gorgeous sunflower. I love the fiery colours and the gloss and then the outlining of the petals for more definition, and the gold frame is perfect, and the white on black inked combined with the large gold die cut sentiment works beautifully as a finishing touch. x
