Birthday Wishes....

I have had a fun couple of days playing with Salt....
Update..Thrilled to have been picked as an outstanding design for my card
at The CAS Water Colour Challenge....Thank you
This is one of the cards that I made with the technique...
I have used pigment powders and water with sprinkles of salt,
left to dry and watch to see the results.....

The die cut has been cut from linen card,
popped up onto foam
and the sentiment stamped with the Misti straight onto the card base.
It took we awhile to learn the technique but so glad that I persevered.
The wonderful challenge over at CAS Water Colour
was the inspiration for the technique.
I love challenging myself to a new techniques.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

Now, blame on the heat of summer, Mac, but I find your card to be absolutely delicious ~ it makes me crave peppermint and vanilla ice cream. You know, in a cup to save those calories, haha! It is a sensational and winning design in my book!! Hugs, Darnell

I agree it takes a while to master the salt technique - I had several flops before I got pieces I liked. Glad you kept trying as this is so beautiful - wonderful colours and texture in your background. And perfectly partnered with that die cut! Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Watercolour!
