CAS Watercolour Reminder Post........

Still smiling and still thrilled to be the Guest Designer this month
at The CAS Watercolour May Challenge,
which is Flowers.
So many beautiful entries in the gallery....
If you've time please pop across and take a look x
This is my card for the CAS Watercolour May Reminder post.....
The peony flowers have been stamped individually, masked
and then heat embossed with white embossing powder.
The Hydrangeas and leaves have also been stamped and masked individually,
with grey and green inks to form the posy of flowers.
The Water colouring has been done with zigs and Gansai Tambi paints.
The sentiment has been die cut, hi-lighted in pink and green
and popped up for dimension.
I finished with die cutting the image, popping it into a frame
and splattering with white and gold acrylic paint.

When I did this card.....the stamp was one stamp,
whereas this card was made with a several stamps and lots of masking.
Learning all the time and loving it!

I hope you find time to join in this fun and friendly challenge
and I thank you once again for the kind invite x

Crafty Hugs xx
Thank you for finding time to stop by, I really do appreciate it.

Great job with masking to create a multi-flower design. This is really gorgeous and masking opens up lots of possibilities to use stamps in a new way. Love the soft pink peonies and those beautiful white hydrangeas together. The splatters add a great finishing detail. Would love you to join us over at CAS Mix Up with this beautful card, Mac.

And thanks again for being our Guest Designer and providing so much inspiration to our participants. xx

WOW - I LOVE this! A fantastic combination , those hydrangeas and peonies! I just was at the NY Botanic Garden and the peonies are in full bloom - you captured their beauty perfectly! Just saw you are linking up with Cutplorations - well, thank you for that (just in case you are on my commenting list, ...)

Two things touched me in your beautiful card. A wonderfully subtle contrast between the white base and so beautifully painted background and delicate peony. The second thing is so smartly repainted colors on HUGS. Did I tell you that you are brilliant?
Hugs,

Wow, this looks like it should be framed on a wall somewhere....its a piece of art! This is how I would like to be able to water colour but it doesn't come naturally for me. Your painting is so soft and detailed and you did a fantastic job with your masking too. I'm so glad you shared this with us at Happy Little Stampers!
