Geometric.....

Before I show you today's card I was thrilled and delighted to have won
at CASology with this card from yesterday...
I  have been lucky enough to have been selected as the Honourable Mention several times
but never a win, so it's made my day and I thank the team for all the wonderful inspiration x
Anyway.....Today's card.....
I started by die cutting the geometric die out of foam as I wanted to use it as a stamp.
I hadn't done this before and I was super excited that it worked really well.
I used re-positionable spray on the foam and
then stamped with versa mark and white embossing powder.
I had a fun time using my Gansai water-colours in rainbow colours.
I cut the flower die and used this as a stencil and scraped through black embossing paste.
The flower was die cut out of more water coloured card and popped on top of the black paste.
Some of the sentiments have been die cut and layered with foam
or popped straight onto the card or stamped and raised onto foam.
I enjoyed mixing the sentiments and how they where used on the card.
I also enjoyed using a die as a stamp.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

WOW! Another beauty here Mac! As for yesterdays, I'm not surprised it was chosen as the winner, it was certainly a winner in my eyes! This is bright, cheerful and very innovative! I have used die cuts before as stamps, but never thought to use a cover die as one! Thanks for the inspiration! Have a wonderful evening! Hazel xx

Hi, Norm here. I 'm very pleased with all my polishing though The Doc is a hard task master and kept finding spots I'd missed. The neighbours said we kept them awake the other night so we won't be allowed any more parties . Hugs Norm.

Now that's a shame no parties...Maybe you could come here??? x

What a great card! It is fun to use a die as a stamp once in awhile--I just feel a little guilty because of my huge stamp collection--haha! Your card is amazing & beautiful--love how you used the black embossing paste under the die cut!

I have always wanted one of these fun dies, but I am so lazy and would doubtfully put in the work to reassemble! ;0 LOL! This is amazing and a much simpler use. Love it! Hugs, Autumn
