Hugs.....

Today's card has been inspired by die cutting.....

I started by stamping the seagull scene stamp but masking off the top half.
I wanted to use dies instead of the seagulls flying, at the top of the stamp.
I heat embossed the stamp with white embossing powder.

The flying seagulls have been die cut with white card and inlaid back into the kraft card.
A bit tricky but I enjoyed doing it.

I have heat embossed Frantage shabby white powder around the edges.
The white fluffy cloud has been stenciled with white embossing paste
and a hint of white glitter.

I popped on a few white frantage pieces and coloured the bottom sea gulls
with watered down white acrylic paint.
I finished off with die cutting the Hugs sentiment in white and kraft card
and inlaying it back into the card.

So much of work went into this and the results are fun. Kraft and white makes a very elegant combo.

This is absolutely gorgeous Mac. I'm a great fan of Kraft card as it really makes the white pop and I love what you've done here. The stamp is lovely and the die cut seagulls just finish it off beautifully, they really stand out against the stamped image. I love it! Crafty hugs, Sandra :) X

The combination of this wonderful stamp and of gulls dies is a brilliant idea. All to ourselves so very fit, like always were whole. And kraft paper ... I love him, though I rarely I use it because it is very demanding.
You come out victorious from this encounter.
hugs,
BozenA
P.S. As much as I am afraid of what came out of my translations ... :-)
