Still learning about Pigment Powders at The Paper Artsy Blog here
I was inspired to do this project
My inspiration has come from 2015 #17 Be The Rainbow by Kay Carley
at PaperArtsy Blog
Take a look it is very creative and gorgeous
It inspired me as I loved the technique of the background and
the technique of colouring in the flowers.
It inspired me as I loved the technique of the background and

My other inspiration is from The Mixed Media Monthly Challenge
The background has been done with brusho's.
The right hand side of the project is darker and
is to represent the green wood on the inspiration photo.
I coloured embossing paste with brusho's and spread it through a stencil.
inspired by 2015 #17 Brusho and Paste by Sam Butler
I stamped the 'circles' and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
I took the circle idea and the colours from the photo inspiration.
The photo had small items within the tyres and
I have represented this by a technique inspired by
where baby wipes had brusho's sprinkled on them, whilst damp,
heat dried, which caused them to shrink and produce great texture.
I have popped on tiny pieces of these within some of the circles.
Click on the link as the blog post explains how this is done much better than I did!
I coloured in the circles using Brusho's as watercolours.
When you heat emboss the circles with EP the brusho's and
water stay within the lines and become much more controllable.
I finished off by shadow stamping the tall grass,
adding a tiny amount of mica to hi-light 'The Wood' effect and
sprinkling and heating shabby white embossing enamel from underneath.
These are two projects inspired by the inspiration in different styles.
Learning all the time about Pigment powders.
Having fun and getting messy.
I find that creating with Brusho's is mostly be chance,
mostly unpredictable and mostly a lovely surprise!

You have done a fabulous job and I just love everything about it. I'm going to follow your links and learn how you did this so I can put my own Brushos to good use :)
