You Are Loved

I have caught up with all the those jobs I should have done during the first lockdown.
So now it's time for Crafting......

I have managed to keep up with commenting,
so I haven't missed your amazing, inspirational and creative creations.....
Thank you.

I am so happy to be blogging again and here is today's card......

Inspired by my favourite challenge over at CAS Mix Up,
which is stamping through a stencil, hosted by Jenny.

After using the stencil and black archival  ink I left it in place to do the stamping.
The flowers and leaves where heat embossed in white
and the crackle on the right with clear.

The colouring has been done with paints
and I finished off with a little doodling in white and black pens.

The background has been lightly dry embossed
and I also added the horizontal strips,
as I wasn't keen on them not been embossed.

Thinking of you all and what a friendly community we have.
I am very grateful to those who popped in occasionally and asked after me.

Challenges I would love to enter   .............
CAS Mix Up - Stamping through a stencil
Uniko - Flowers - Without the option - The flower/leaf stamp is by Uniko
Thrilled with my Top Three shout out-Thank you x
Watercooler Wednesday - Marsha's All about Occasions
Thank you very much for the shout out x.

Welcome back Mac, so lovely to see you. I am really glad you are crafting and sharing again and I hope it feels good to have got on top of all those jobs. I recognised the flower and leaf as Uniko straight away, you have to love their products. You definitely haven't lost your knack for creating great cards while you were away. I love the contrast between the black, white and those vibrant colours. Love the subtle texture and shine from your heat embossed crackles too. A great example of how effective stamping through a stencil can be. Lovely to see you in the CAS Mix Up gallery. Hope we see you again soon xx

Oh, Mac, I have missed you, and your gorgeous creations so much! Looks like you haven't forgotten a thing while away! LOve the stenciled rectangles you've created for this lovely Uniko sprig - very clever to use those paints to fill in your white-embossed blooms! I'll bet they didn't have any trouble covering the black!
A gorgeous card - welcome back!!

Welcome back! You haven’t missed a beat. This is gorgeous! I thought you had used black cardstock. Amazing inking with black archival ink through the stencil. Beautiful colouring with paints. Great design. Although subtle, the texture adds to what is already a fabulous card.

At last!!! I am very happy that I can enjoy my eyes and heart again with your amazing work. After a long break, a great entrance :-) I love how you divided the panel into 3 parts. And a big surprise that it is thanks to stencil and black ink. I admire the coloring of flowers and I was inspired by the background embossing in clear EP which gives a very nice effect.
Big hugs,
BożenA

A Big Welcome Back Mac. How we all have missed your creative post. So glad you have the unimportant jobs done and you are back doing the good stuff.
There is alwyays so many itty bitty thing you add that makes your cards so unique. Takes time to just study them and just swoon! Eye candy at it's best. Talking of candy - some Edinburgh Rock had been nice lately even though I have had it a wee while. Keep that creative bug going and look forward to the next chapter very very soon I hope. Hugs.

Love the bright green and pink against the back. I agree I think the white strips work better than leaving them black.
