Guest Star Stamper

I have the honour of guesting at Color Throwdown,
after recently being lucky enough to be their featured stamper.
The colour palette this week is Red, Pink and Mint Green....

This is my card......

After stamping and heat embossing I used metallic Mint green paint for the leaves.
I mixed a couple of 'red' embossing powders to triple emboss the die cut sentiment.
I was going for vintage shades of pink, green and red.
Finishing off with pink and white pearl liquid drops.
The talented and creative team at Color Throwdown have tons of inspiration for you....
The photo also inspired me to use 'pink' for the berries.
I am super thrilled with guesting and thank you so much for asking me.

Three Trees

I had a fun day today crafting and came up with this Christmas card.....

The colours have been inspired by Color throwdown
..........Pink, Turquoise, Green and Black.
I stamped, masked, heat embossed
and enjoyed using up some of my many liquid pearls.

It's actually a one layer card, which amazed me
with the amount of Liquid Pearls on it, that it didn't warp too badly.
Finishing off with some glitter stickles.

Thank you so much for stopping by, especially this time of year
when we are all so very busy.
I really appreciate it.

The stamps are Visible Image

Merry Christmas

At last I found some time to make a Christmas Card....
The colours have been inspired by the challenge over at Color Throwdown .....
Pink, Silver and White....
Stamped first with archival ink, 'coloured' using acrylic paints
and then re-stamped and heat embossed in Silver.
I did some masking to extend the pretty poinsettia,
with the heat embossed silver leaves.
Finishing off with the die cut sentiment,
'white' pearl drops in the centre of the poinsettia
and edging two sides of the card with silver.
I wanted to make the card as 'slim' as possible for posting.

'Chewing' less dust now and so glad we had it done....
Not so much at the time!

Please stay safe and well.

Hiding from The Dust

We have had workmen in the house for the past 5 weeks.
Those of you who have had plasterboard and plastering done
will know exactly why I am 'chewing' dust and finding 'dust' everywhere!
I have escaped to my craft room and I have so enjoyed it......

Two challenges concentrated my mind to create Todays' Card......
Inspired By.... 'Friends' Fall together and that adorable Acorn
Color Throwdown and the wonderful colour combination

Here is my card.......

I relaxed and enjoyed water colouring with shades of Browns and Orange,
after stamping and heat embossing in gold.
I masked the leaves to do the heat embossed circles.

Even after heat embossing in gold I still manged to go outside the lines!

Finishing of with brown and orange heat embossing around the edges,
matting onto a layer of Kraft and die cutting the sentiment.

I so needed to 'craft' and I am so grateful for our hobby.
Thank you so much for popping in, I so appreciate it.

Autumn Wreath

Lot's of fun with Autumn colours, water colouring, dies, stamps
and an embossing folder.....

Meet today's card......

I Started with die cutting the Hanging Florals from Pink Fresh
in gold metallic, dry embossed the centre and layered up from there
I used the wonderful Lindy Magical powders, activated with water
and cuts lots of leaves and a few acorns .....
I used several different die cuts including, Sizzix, Poppystamps
and a pretty Pink Fresh stamp and die set.
I also stamped and heat embossed in gold the flower wreath.
Finishing off with a tiny sentiment and gloss over those acorns ....

Thanks for finding time to stop by, I really appreciate it.

Birthday Boy

Today's card was inspired by the colour challenge over at Color Throwdown.
Although the photo inspiration had flowers on it I thought the colours
would lend themselves to a masculine 16th Birthday card.......
The colours are RED, PURPLE and ORANGE......

You can see a little more of the detailing, crackle and bling on this photo.

I used a mix of gold and purple embossing powders,
which played nicely together on the die cut photo film frame,
the stamping/embossing on the left and the die cut number 1.

I so enjoyed making the mixed media card, using stencilling, stamping, die cutting
and heat embossing and loved the colour combination from the challenge.

Monochromatic Happy Birthday

Thankyou so much for all my kind and friendly comments on my last post,
which I really appreciated.

Today's card is mixed media and Monochromatic.....

The leaves have been stamped and half heat embossed with shimmer.
The die cut flower has been heat embossed with lots of UTEE on my pancake maker
for constant heat and swirled around with a cocktail stick whilst still molten.

I finished off with heat embossing one edge of the card,
stamping the Happy Birthday sentiments
and adding the thin die cut circle.
I had so much fun making this card and it was sent to one very special lady.

You Are Loved

I have caught up with all the those jobs I should have done during the first lockdown.
So now it's time for Crafting......

I have managed to keep up with commenting,
so I haven't missed your amazing, inspirational and creative creations.....
Thank you.

I am so happy to be blogging again and here is today's card......

Inspired by my favourite challenge over at CAS Mix Up,
which is stamping through a stencil, hosted by Jenny.

After using the stencil and black archival  ink I left it in place to do the stamping.
The flowers and leaves where heat embossed in white
and the crackle on the right with clear.

The colouring has been done with paints
and I finished off with a little doodling in white and black pens.

The background has been lightly dry embossed
and I also added the horizontal strips,
as I wasn't keen on them not been embossed.

Thinking of you all and what a friendly community we have.
I am very grateful to those who popped in occasionally and asked after me.
