Textured Beachy Scene

Lots of wonderful Beach themed Challenges to inspire me.....
CAS MIX Up Watercolour Challenge is Beach......
Allsorts Challenge is Summer Fun......
Country View is all about being beside the seaside....
and The Male Room is celebrating their 7th Birthday......

This is My Masculine.... Watercolour and Textural Card.........

Textural sand paste was popped on to add dimension.
I used Lindy Magicals, activated with water
and Lindy Sprays, using a brush directly into the bottles.
The seagull and the driftwood where die cut.
So that the gull didn't feel left out I added dimension to him too using heated
and chunky frantage.
I finished off with stamping the Birthday sentiment.
I loved all the texture and dimension and the different colours from the Lindy's.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, I really do appreciate it....
Challenges I would love to enter.....

Thrilled with my Honourable Mention - Thank you

This is just wonderful. I love all the different ideas that you come up with. Just back from the dentist and having a quite sit down waiting fir the numbness to wear off. The root came out cleanly in one piece so now have to wait two months for the bone to regrow. All I want for Christmas is my new front tooth.!! Hugs Mrs A.

What a really dreamy beach scene you've made here Mac with your wonderful textured seagull and sand paste! The sprays really add some beautiful color in the scene as well. Fabulous masculine card my friend! Thanks for sharing!

Love it, the scene is just perfect with that seagull and the texture you have created for the sea and sand is so clever, love that blue. Offsetting the panel and stamping the sentiment in the vertical plain is a brilliant finishing touch. I am so glad you have found time to join us at CAS Mix Up this month, I do so look forward to seeing your cards xx

Oh my goodness, Mac! I never cease to be wowed by your artistic, imaginative use of products. Such amazing detail in your textures! I would love this as a large, framed masterpiece in my living room. Really gorgeous and modern! I’ve been reorganizing my dies... a slow process for me lol... and enjoying some cardmaking just for fun these days. This week I’ve regained a bit of energy, so I spend a 5 minute morning segment pruning our rapidly growing shrubbery. Jack has our new green house completed, and he is now building the shelves on the inside. Been reading quite a bit, and resting a lot. Still struggling with resting because it feels like I’m wasting time, but Jack reminds me it’s not wasting time if my body needs it.

Wow, wow, wow! This is stunning and amazing Mac! I love the texture-didn't know about sand paste, but am loving it on this card. The sprays you used are beautiful colors and give such depth. Love the die cuts as well and how you put chunky frantage on the gull. I am thinking I need this chunky frantage and sand paste although I'd never be able to use it as well as you have here. I am in love with this card! Hugs, Brenda

Stunning card! You've picked the colors perfectly, Mac, it creates the illusion of a sea shore. And this amazing gull that perched on a wooden stake for a moment. I love how you added texture with the paste. How Lindy's paints dried is so unique. Lovely card, Mac.

What a magical scene, it's slope adds so much more to it's design. Great way of using the frantage, it's a good way to add dimension on those little things in life and he's perched so well on the drift wooden post admiring it all.
Beautiful and oh so creative. Many thanks for sharing Hugs Tracey xx
