Maple Leaf Stencilling

Today's card was inspired by the wonderful Loll....Who needs no introduction x.
For the mid month inspiration post Loll did a fun technique, which I was keen to try.
I loved the idea of the background not being black.
If you want to see CAS at it's best pop over to Loll's Blog.....

Here is my card....

I used a maple stencil and Lindy Magicals for the water colours.
I popped on transparent paste through the stencil and let it dry completely.
I then sprayed the whole card with 'Dark Chocolate Truffle' from Lindy's.....
Wiping away the spray from the resist of the paste.
I loved how the gold from the spray pooled around the stencilling.
I attached the panel to foam and heat embossed the edges with gold.
I finished off with stamping the sentiment three times to represent
The CAS Watercolour celebrating their third birthday....Where does time go? x

I would like to say at this point that I had intended to cut the panel in half
and make two cards........ I loved it so much I couldn't!
To try and keep it CAS I made a larger card.........!
Happy Birthday to the very creative Design Team over at The CAS Watercolour x.

Photographing the bling from the Lindy's was hard so squinting a little might help!......
Thank you Loll for the inspiration x

Time to Celebrate

Today's card was inspired by a fun challenge over at
The CAS Stencil ....to stencil over patterned paper.
Something I had never even thought to do....
I have had this two part metal stencil for ages, so I thought I would make a masculine card.
Layer one - Blending a couple of shades of brown inks.
Layer two - Copper embossing paste.
A little foiling for the hands and the top of the watch.
I also stamped and heat embossed in copper the circles and around the edges
and finished off with stamping the sentiment three times.
What a great way to use up some of my hoarded paper.
I am looking at my patterned paper in a whole different way now......
Thank you ladies for the inspiration x.

Flower Foiling

I have so missed crafting and joining in my favourite challenges....
Meet today's card......
Joining in my favourite Challenge, which this month is foiling .....
There are so many ways to do foiling and
if you are looking for more inspiration pop along to The CAS Mix Up Challenge to see more.

After masking off the card I blended Oxide inks and splattered with a tiny amount of water.
I stamped the pretty flower image and the butterfly and then used bleach to whiten up the areas.
After stamping again with flitter glu I popped on the mica flakes.
Finishing off with the stamped Hello sentiment in gold and a little doodling in white.

I want to take the opportunity to thank my dear blog friends for their very kind messages.
I have been so busy lately
and have had no time to join in my favourite challenges.
We have such a friendly and supportive crafting community
and I cherish all my blog friendships.

Sending love and hugs and a heartfelt Thank you x
