Spring Blossom.....

I had a fun day stamping, being creative and catching up with blogs....

This is my Card......

Everything has been stamped on today's card.
I used distress inks and oxides, zigs and pencils to colour with.
The falling blossoms came about with a blob of ink on the outside of the wreath.
Don't you just love that at the end of a project?....
A little closer photo of some of the details....
I have used Card-io stamps for the wreath and a Paprtartsy sentiment set by Alison Bomber.
There are lots of little stamps for the branches so you can make the wreath any size
and shape you want....
Still hoping for Summer to arrive, so it still feels like Spring....
I hope you all have had a lovely weekend, which has included some crafting?
Challenges I would love to enter....
Watercooler Wednesday - Karen's Feminine anything goes challenge
Penny Black and More - Blooms, Butterflies and bugs with stamping being the focal point
Time Out #137 - Nature I have gone with the one layer twist.....
The Flower Challenge - Focus on Background Stamping, using Flowers....

What a lovely wreath Mac, lots of stampings of the branch to create it! Your blooms are so softly colored and I love Alison's sentiment - it's perfect for your design. I often get a smudge somewhere on my card just as I'm finishing - or I mis-stamp the sentiment inside, clever way to disguise your little smudge! xx

What a clever save but wern’t those flowers meant to be falling like that. Lol. Love the soft colours. Hugs Mrs A.

The detail in this card is just stunning. The blossoms are coloured brilliantly and that butterfly is a lovely addition. You have very successfully rescued the card from your ink blob. I invariable mess something up just at the final stage, so I know how frustrating that can be. Yes, I am also fed up with wet and cold so far in flaming June!

Simply gorgeous, Mac! Love the soft colours. Even after reading about your oopsie, I still don’t know what you’re talking about, so superb job ´fixing’ it. xx

Blob? what blob? And yet, I know exactly what you are talking about at the end of a project. Fantastic cover up of the boo-boo on this amazing creation, Mac. I find that 99% of my card designs are the result of covering up one blunder after another. My favorite part of this card is the delicate features - such pretty coloring in delicate colors and with a fine tip! Thanks for sharing! hugs, de

Usually those splotches and smudges do happen at the end of the card, but you've found a perfect way to fix that, Mac! Love the delicate flowers and wreath. And that butterfly is so pretty!

I love that you overcame your blob of ink. I think most everything can be saved. The wreath delicateness of the wreath is nice with the soft colors of the blossoms. The sentiment is perfect. Lovely card.

Hi Mac. How many times does that tiny blob of ink or paint try to spoil a gorgeous piece of work that you believe is finished, well..... we will overcome this little devil Lol! and you made a pretty good job of that. Have a great week. Hugs, Angela xXx

I can tell you are still enjoying spring weather, Mac, because this card exemplifies springtime! I love the airy wreath and beautiful spring blossoms ... and the fact that some of them are falling, which is just what happens in real life! If you hadn't mentioned the boo-boo, I would have assumed it was a design feature, lol! Great butterfly, too! Wish I could send you some of our excruciating summer heat!! Hugs, Darnell

This is so beautiful Mac! I love the wreath, its so intricate and soft, really caught my eye in the Gallery. And those pink flowers are beautifully coloured. I'm always getting marks on my cards, usually its me getting ink on my fingers and then transferring it. I'm such a messy crafter. So wonderful to see you at TIME OUT!

How beautiful!! Just what you want to see on a rainy day (when all the real flowers are fallen with the weight). It's so pretty Mac and so very beautifully done.

It's usually a finger print I leave rather than a blob but you've covered yours up so masterfully. A very pretty piece, I only tend to use my card-io stamps at Christmas..! Beautiful words of Alison's. Thanks for sharing Hugs Tracey xx
