CAS Mix Up May Reminder

Time for a reminder of the CAS Mix Up Challenge, which is
Baby Wipe, hosted by the wonderful Bonnie.
There are video links on the blog in case this technique is new to you.
We are joined too this month by the talented Berry from Berry's Bramble.

This is My Card......

Oxides on photo paper and the baby wipe technique, stamping, die cutting and fussy cutting.
I started by blending several shades of oxide inks, onto photo paper,
using a flower stencil from Stamplorations....I did this twice.
The photo below shows the top layer that I fussy cut to add more dimension.
I had so much fun trying out different colours of oxides on photo paper and
then wiping the chalky residue off, with the baby wipe, to expose the vibrant colours.
Some where more vibrant than others but I loved them all!
I finished off my card with die cutting and stamping the sentiments
and a hint of bling with a couple of shades of stickles.
Streaks where left on the white gloss photo paper, from the baby wipes
and I managed to buff those up with judikins microglaze
(similar to Rangers Distress Micro Glaze) and it worked really well.

Thank you Bonnie for introducing me to this fun, new to me technique,
which I have really enjoyed.
If you've not tried this fun technique before why not give it a go?
I am looking forward to seeing your creations in the gallery.....
Challenges I would love to enter......
Take It Make It - Craft Stamper Challenge - Anything goes so long as you include stamping
Stamplorations CAS - Anything goes without the option
The stencil I have used is Stamplorations although you do not have to use their products to enter
Stamplorations Never Ending Anything Goes - Using a Stamplorations product....
The stencil is by Stamplorations

This card is amazing. I love the colours, dimension and sparkle. I am going to have to try that technique. I actually bought some baby wipes today (I haven't used them in a while) just so I can enter this challenge. I just hope I can find the time for it before the deadline. Thank you for the inspiration xx

You've done it again, Mac--sensational card! I haven't tried the technique, but looks like baby wipes would be a cheaper way to do what the glaze does.

Gorgeous, vibrant, glittery bloom, Mac! The die-cut sentiment, sunshine, is perfect for this fabulous bloom. Layering the fussy-cut flower adds not only dimension but a sense of dynamic movement too. Love the layout of the offset flower on the square card with the black sentiment across.
