CAS Mix Up May Challenge

The CAS Mix Up Challenge for May is Baby Wipe....
Hosted by Bonnie and we have the talented Berry from Berry's Bramble
as our guest designer this month.
Video links of this fun technique can be found on the blog for further inspiration.

This is my card......

I used two shades of pinks and one green re-inker, on a baby wipe to use as my ink pad.
Stamping, masking and doodling.
I only own four re-inkers and the two pink colours are ancient....
So much so that I had to squeeze really hard and the top flew off....
Top left in the photo......
This ink pad will last me ages!!!!
I am keen now to try the other baby wipe techniques, using the video links over on the blog.
And remember don't squeeze any ancient re-inkers you have too hard......x
I am looking forward to seeing your CAS creations in the gallery...
Challenges I would love to enter......

Well, I think this is really stunning, the stamping with your baby wipe ink pad has worked so well. I love the blending of the colours and the repetition of the colours in the butterfly, lovely. I might have to buy some baby wipes just to try this technique. I haven't used them for a while now xx

What a fabulous technique, I don't believe iv'e ever used baby wipes in this way.. I really have to try this! You may only own four reinker's but you've picked the cream of the crop, smashing colours to create your stunning CAS card. You really are the Queen of CAS for me. Thanks so much for sharing this. Creative Hugs Tracey xx

Sweet, sweet card Mac! Love how soft your flowers and butterfly came out but yet how the ink pad looks so dark...very pretty!! Had to chuckle at your little mishap too...think we've all used a bit too much pressure at one time or another!! :0)

One good thing from the top flying off, you got really good inking! LOL, sometimes these accidents can work to our advantage! Gorgeous flowers, Mac! I love how the colors blended!

What a fantastic way to use baby wipes, Mac!! LOVE your sweet garden of pink and green! The white gel pen doodling really adds so much to these fun blooms. Great work, Mac! I have to try this technique!! So funny about the lid popping off ... I'm sure it wasn't funny as the time --- what a mess! :) xx

Oh, if the cap flew off on me, I don’t think I would have been as lucky as you. It would have been all over my desk and splattered on me no doubt. Lovely and delightful card, Mac. xx

Fresh and gorgeous, Mac ... with a delicious touch of whimsy about these dreamy blooms ... love them! Your top-flying-off moment sounds a little scary ... I had visions of pink ink everywhere, but you controlled it brilliantly .. and now have a forever ink pad! Hugs, Anita :)

How pretty the stamping looks in two colors. Oh my goodness, I know I have done that squeezing and the top coming off with some of my glitter glues. Lol. It can be spectacular. Thanks for sharing that oops moment in addition to your wonderful card!

Incredible technique! I have not heard about it before, and it gives so many possibilities! Your flowers look like those from the Avatar movie. They are three-dimensional and look stunning. Another amazing card and great inspiration, Mac.

First, I love your pretty in pink whimsically doodled design, Mac! It is so fresh and lovely for springtime! Second, omg, I can SO relate. I recently did more alcoholic ink play and one of the colors seemed to be hesitant, so I gave it a good squeeze ... Didn't you find yourself just sitting there staring at the mess for a couple seconds, amazed and willing it not to be true?! It;s definitely a "what was I thinking" moment, lol! BTW, I LOVE that sediment!! Hugs, Darnell

An ageless ink pad, hahaha! Sometimes I believe our fingers are eternally inked up! ...like forever!
Back to your beautiful card. I do love the softness of your blooms and the harmony to the string of flowers. The butterfly is the perfect compliment too! Another beauty dear friend xx

These are such cute flowers and your ink blended so well. What a shame about the blob of ink from the clogged bottle. I see a lot of pink and green creations in your future.

I love the pinks with the green in your pretty stylised flowers and sweet butterfly Mac, and a great sentiment too. I don't own any reinkers so not sure how I am going to tackle this one, that's if time doesn't run out on me like it usually does..lol. x

The blend of pink and green of your flowers and the butterfly is sooo pretty, Mac! Fantastic one-layer CAS card using the baby wipe technique.
Your place is up north, but it's as springy as this card is by now.

Beautiful artsy flowers in such perfect spring colours - love the way the green overlaps the pink on the flowers. And I love the sentiment - I'm always reminding myself to do that.
