Just Keep Going.....

I had an idea and I just kept going.....

A Box of Eggs .......a Colour Challenge.....
Here is my Creation....
I made the three little eggs from clay and Splattered them and covered them with gloss glaze......
The background has been made with quite a few of the chalk acrylic paints,
swirled and made to look like marble.....
I have stencilled the flowers with white snowflake paint and splattered in toffee...

In the spirit of honesty I have included this photo to say......
Keep on going as I was really not sure at this stage.....
Happily I was really pleased when I finished it.....
Mixing the medias to me is to keep going until I finish,
as it is the sum of all the elements....And then see if I like it......
I loved getting all messy and as always learnt lots along the way....
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Challenges I would love to enter.....
Take It Make It Challenge - October Challenge Anything goes
Stamplorations - Mixed Media...Anything goes + You must use a stencil

Beautiful neutral background with just the right amount of dots, dabs and splashes to bring it into balance. Fabulous mixed media piece and take on the PA challenge and a good reminder to me that I have that stamp set too!!

This is awesome. Maybe I've said that about your other cards too but it is well deserved. I love this mixed media look and something I've not done yet. You have inspired me with this stunning creation. I love those little clay eggs with the speckles. The white snowflake flower is so pretty and the blue egg and leaf are very clever.

I didn't spot the eggs to start with as they blend in so we'll. A great design. Hugs Mrs A.

A masterpiece of mixed media! Love the soft colours and all the texture. I will have to try your motto of "just keep going" - I'm always worried I'll ruin it if I had more!

I love your views on challenges, they are so unconventional !! When the word "egg" I just see an egg, you see flowers with elements of an egg :-) I love your vision of the world. It's as always stunning, both in color and texture.
Hugs,

Another fabulous mixed media card, Mac! The marbled background has wonderful movement and is the perfect background for the egg shaped flower! Love the clay eggs and your splatters are so perfect! I always end up with a glop!

Wow, Mac, I feel like I'm looking at your wonderful project in another world - the world where I really don't know how to even walk, let alone comment! I'll just say the marble-like, chalky look of the background is so beautiful and I love the 3 camouflage cray eggs. All the spatters look random and yet perfect!

You are a mixed media master Mac! I love how you keep going and in the end, you have this amazing card with lots of layers and goodness. The colours of this are gorgeous with the all neutral background and then the pop of the lovely turquoise. Always in awe of what you make. Wish we lived close so you could give me some lessons in the art of mixed media! xx
