SMILE.......

Trying to watercolour ..........
I was experimenting with using a couple of leaf stamps,
colouring them with several different colours of distress markers
and then lightly spraying with water before stamping...
To finish I hi-lighted with a white pen, glossy accents over the
die cut layered sentiment and  also for the water droplets.
This technique is very new to me......
I shall keep practising because it was fun to do......
Thank goodness for the Misti!

Awesome leaves and that thick black sentiment - how did you make that??? although at second glance it almost reminded me about a slug crawling over the wet leaves. Sorry...I probably should have kept that thought to myself... ;)

Mac Mable said...

Hi Cornelia....
Thank you for finding time to stop by my blog and leave such kind and generous comments.......And also funny ones....
I don't need to tell you now how I made the sentiment.... as it will forever be know as the 'slug' method x
And now I see it too...who knew xx

This is such a beautiful CAS card, Mac! I watched a Tim Holtz video a few days ago, and he was showing this technique. I thought I should get distress makers and try it. Then I saw your stunning card this morning. I'm even more motivated to get the markers! ;-P
The leaf veins highlighted by white pen are effective, and the water droplets are perfect finishing touches! Hideko xx
