Money Wallet.....

Had a fun couple of days making this Money Wallet...
I was inspired by the  Flag Day Challenge at Shopping Our Stash.
They wanted us to use the colours of our national flag...
Mine is The united Kingdom..Red, White and Blue...
I live in Scotland, which is Blue and White but it is part of the UK.

I came by the challenge via Crispyscreations.blogspot.co.uk
I had never used the flag stamp before,
although I had it for some time...
This is my Money Wallet.....
I stamped the flag using distress inks and water.
The aeroplane and sentiment where stamped and heat embossed.
I die cut the beating heart line and layered it up for dimension,
popping blue foam behind.
This is the inside......
Smooshing with distress inks, die cutting, stamping and stenciling.
I kept the left hand side light so that I could hand write a sentiment x
I wanted it to look like a travel tag...
I have a neighbour who is shortly joining British Airways
as a steward and tried to work with that theme as well x

Thank you so much for finding time to stop by...I really do appreciate it x

Challenges I would like to enter.....

Oooh yes - often don't like union jack stuff - find them a bit brash, but this is sophisticated and lovely. It's a real advantage , with the current crop of 'flag colour' challenges, to live in a union and therefore have a choice of flag colours! I toyed with the red and white of the St George , but went for the classic tricolore in the end too!

That is really neat. It does look like a luggage tag and I really like how you echoed the flag inside in grey. Super duper!
