Gift Bag and more.....

I started with a gift bag, which led onto tags and a card......
My inspiration came from Stamplorations/Cutplorations photo..
I focused in on the red paste icing, the candles, celebration
and the black and white lace effect on the cup cake holders.

The red flowers have been stenciled with coloured embossing paste,
using two different sizes of the flower stencil.
The sentiments and candles have been die cut and layered.
The black and white lace strip at the bottom has been stamped and heat embossed.
I have used quite a few gold sequins to cover up my extra blobs of red paste!

I then wanted to make a tag for the bag....
I wanted to play with the different effects of the paste, layouts etc.
My inspiration to play with this technique came from The CAS-Mixup Challenge
which is embossing pastes and gels...
The tags have been die cut and I made a small black frame as well.
I enjoyed playing with the translucent paste
and the opaque ones to see the difference.

I now have a couple of spare tags to put on the actual presents.

I made a CAS card to go with the set.
The tag on the card is smaller than the tag on the bag.
I masked the white lace effect, stamped and heat embossed.

The completed set ...
That's all I have to do now is find a present that fits the bag!!!

It took me awhile but I enjoyed it and had fun x
Thank you so much for finding the time to stop by.

Hello.......

Today's tag was inspired by a colour challenge
I played with a couple of stencils, translucent paste
and Brusho's for the background.
The sea horses have been stamped and water-coloured
with zigs and hi-lighted with mica powders.
The shell has been stamped and sprinkled with Bistre powders.
The sand is paste, micro beads and coloured with Lindy powders.
The coral has been die cut from several colours of Brusho card.
The ribbon has also been coloured with Brusho's.
I had such fun playing with techniques and enjoyed making my tag.
I had a chuckle after I had finished, looking at the stenciled anchor,
which looks like it is heading for the seahorse's head!!!!
Thank you for finding the time to stop by...I always appreciate it x

Hugs and Kisses

Another card from my crafty day on Thursday....
Today's card.....
I love playing with gels/pastes and stencils so the challenge over at
CAS Mix Up is right up my street....
Stamping/Embossing Pastes/Gels and your choice.
I used a flower stencil and sponged on gold paint.
Once it was dry I moved the stencil a  little
and then scraped through embossing gel with glitter in it.
I am not good with loose glitter.....
I die cut the Hugs sentiment in gold and ivory and
stamped the 'and kisses' sentiment in gold.
The gold around the edge of the card is heated embossing powder.
The photos look like a yellow gold but IRL looks a little softer.
I made this card for my BIL and SIL's Wedding Anniversary x

I had the pleasure of attending a fabulous workshop with the
amazing Jo Firth recently.
We played with her new Paper Artsy stamps and made a gorgeous canvas.
Whilst there I also bought this gorgeous flower stencil,
also from the JoFy collection, which I love x

Thank you so much for finding time to stop by...I really do appreciate it.

Stenciled Red Flowers.....

I have had a fun day crafting today.
It has been raining all day so it was the only thing to do!
This is today's card inspired by a few challenges.
I started by masking off the vertical strip and water colouring with
Lindy's magical powers and mixing them with water.
There's a hint of sparkle in them and they graduated really well.
I popped on the flower stencil and mixed several colours of the Lindy's powders
with embossing paste.
After it was dry I hi-lighted the edges with red and gold mica powders.
I stamped the vertical strip with the square's in grey and gold.
I finished off with the die cut and stamped sentiments.
I really enjoyed playing with techniques today and it's still raining!
Thank you for stopping by...
