This is my take on the card....
I started by painting gold stripes, using starlight paints free-hand
and then stamping in black a striped stamp using mixed media stamps.
I have used a flower stencil and clear embossing paste and orange distress inks to colour it.
I have popped on several green sequins.
I have finished off with a black and gold strip down the left and heat embossing a sentiment.
I enjoyed CASEing Shalu's card and producing an artsy and fun card.

What a pretty and bold card! I love the stripes and the gold, you did a nice job with the case, doing your own spin on it.
This is gorgeous Mac, so bold and striking. I really like the black and gold together and the flowers look like they're exploding off your card. This is so dramatic and I like the addition of the sequins too. The sentiment made me smile. Our two year old Granddaughter has just started talking and repeats everything. She's just learned to sing 'Happy Birthday' but misses Birthday out completely, so she just sings 'Happy to You,' which we absolutely love :) Happy Everything is just the perfect sentiment.
