First Master Board

The inspiration to make my First Master Board came from Eileen's crafty Zone.
The videos are good and easy to follow.
However.... when I finished it I couldn't cut it up, so I made it into a canvas to keep.
I'll make some-more to cut up next week, as I really enjoyed making it.
I used White Gesso and embossing paste, with the stencils to provide a resist technique
and used distress inks for the colour.
There are quite a few layers of stenciling and stamping.
I hi-lighted the flowers with a white pen
and finished off with a gold pen and a few sequins.
I had a lot of fun and got messy and can't wait to make some-more.

Just one word....WOW! This is absolutely stunning Mac. It's an explosion of colour with just so much to look at. The use of stencils, stamps in the background and the dramatic white flowers all look incredible. The sentiment is perfect and I think that it's very safe to say that you soul has been answered. If I were you, I would now start looking for a suitable frame and I'm just so please that you couldn't cut it up. Have a lovely weekend. x

The image looks as if you could enter it and a long, long time to go deep into the ... The extraordinary depth, as in the enchanted garden. I'd never had cut, it would be as if smash it to pieces mirror. Ellen is a fantastic teacher, I also love her blog, and now yours.

Hey! Thanks for your comment on my blog. Glad you had inky fun with the designs :) I don't blame you for not wanting to cut this up! It's beautiful the way it is!!! The layering is gorgeous and the white outlining around the flowers is really effective. Helps to pop them out from the background. Can't wait to see your next play ;)
