I am absolutely delighted and thrilled to be The Guest Designer at
City Crafters this week.
The Theme is 123 Tag-Create 3 different tags.
The Tags have to be all different, not making 3 tags of the same design.
They can be Christmas tags or for any occasion.
This initially put me in a tail spin as I had to come up with three very different tags,
and in my mind it was like making three separate projects.......
So.... one of my tags is a Christmas Tag, the next one for a Guy and
the last one a homage to Scotland.
All very different...x
For the Christmas Tag the background has been blended with distress inks and the icicles embossed
using a stencil and glitter embossing paste.
The silver leaves have been die cut and glossy accents added to them.
The snowflakes are also die cut and glitter added to them.
The sentiment has been stamped and heat embossed with silver.
For the edges of the outer layer I have used white and blue frantage, which is so very pretty.
All finished off with ribbon, star sequins and
black string with mini snowflake dies dangling from them x
.
I made the wax crinkled small bag and edged it with gold eyelets.
Inside the bag is a Coffee Gift voucher. The background has been stamped and distressed.
The stamped (stamplorations) and cut coffee container has been layered to give more dimension
and the cup has been stamped with a love stamp.
The chevron stamp has been put under the word 'coffee shop' on the background text
to give the clue of whats in the bag. Also big clue to look in the bag is the die cut arrow!
The corrugated layer has been edged with heat embossed copper.
The tag string is held in place with bits of cocktail sticks heat embossed on the edges.
Finished off with hessian, string and a frantage love heart.
Our Nephew took us for Lunch recently, a first as he is now earning.
I wanted to 'Thank' him for a really memorable Lunch so The tag and gift card went his way x
The background of the Christmas Tag has been sprayed with several different colours of sprays
with mica in them, so very pretty.
The background has been stamped, in parts with a script stamp and embossed in gold.
I have also stamped the dream sentiment (stamplorations) and embossed again in gold.
The edges have been blended with black ink and heat embossed, also in gold.
The outer layer has been edged with gold frantage and heated to give great texture.
The thistle have been stenciled with black embossing paste.
The butterflies have been die cut, stamped with a script text, the edges blended
and some gold glue for their bodies.
The Frantage gives a beautiful shine and so much texture, just love it!
All finished off with gold, black and tartan ribbon x
Although the tags took me ages, I enjoyed the challenge.......to myself.
I tried lots of techniques, had a few late nights, got messy and loved it! x
Thank you so much for giving me such a wonderful opportunity...I had fun x
