All About Winter.....

Today's Tag has been inspired by The TAGPlorations Challenge....
Here is my Tag....
This is the inspiration Photo....
The first thing I saw was two tags....
Then the beautiful colours and the contemporary trees on the tag on the left....
Next came the snow and the snowman on the tag on the right.....

The background has been blended with distress inks and a stencil for the snow.
The trees have also been stencilled with embossing paste.
I have used clear crackle and snow paste.

The die cut sentiment comes as 'Warm Winter Wishes' from Stamploraitons,
which I have snipped and used individually.
The snowman comes in a larger size,
also from Stamplorations but I have used the tiny one.

I also wanted to include the pretty light blue/jade on the tag on the left
so sprayed the snow with Lindy sprays to achieve this.

Late........

Today's Card.......
I die cut a circle and went to work with acrylic paints, charcoal and water.
This is way out of my comfort zone but I enjoyed trying.

The background has been splattered with grey acrylic ink
and a few dots of shiny silver stickles.

I finished off with two tiny tags and stamped the 'with love' text.
The background card is a soft grey, which I enjoyed using for a change.

Tried something new to me and enjoyed it.....

Just For You......

CAS Mix Up Challenge for this month is Cling Wrap...
I love learning new techniques and this is a great challenge to learn.
Update...Thrilled with the shout out for my card...Thank you x

I have had so much fun playing with different mediums, card stock etc
and now have tons of backgrounds to use at a later date.
This is my card......
For the wrap technique I have used Bistre powders in Noir, water and glossy card.
I also tried starch and the effects where great too.
Whilst I was at it I tried Brusho's, Infusions and Lindy magical powders...
All unique and great....

I used the die cut fern, as a stencil and popped through black crackle
and enhanced with white antiquing cream.
The effect was subtle and added another layer of texture and interest.
The die cut fern has been double heat embossed with silver embossing powder.

I have used a fussy edged rectangle die cut
and stamped the sentiment in white.
Finishing off with silver embossing around the edge
and a small die cut heart with heat embossed frantage.
I loved the effect of this unique and fun technique.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hearts and Mistletoe

I wanted to share these cards today, just in time for Christmas...
I saw similar cards on Pinterest and used them as my inspiration.....
The background has been blended with distress inks.
The Mistletoe, the hearts, the bows and cute pegs have all been stamped.
I finished off with splattering with white acrylic paint, glossy accents
on the hearts and white novo drops.

Shades of White...

Today's card was inspired by The PaperArtsy Shades of White Challenge....
Love all the inspiration but the one that inspired today's card is from Wanda
She used stencils to great effect and was thinking about the tissue technique ...
The background is the tissue technique in white tissue sprayed with pearlescent.
The two trees in the background have been done through a stencil,
with gritty structure paste.
The tree in the foreground is a die cut with the paste on top.
The poinsettia has also been done through a stencil with the paste
and glitter gel mixed together and then fussy cut.
I have never used a stencil and fussy cut before.....
Finished off with the die cut sentiment.
Lots of texture and a little bling too on my card.....
