Just For You......

CAS Mix Up Challenge for this month is Cling Wrap...
I love learning new techniques and this is a great challenge to learn.
Update...Thrilled with the shout out for my card...Thank you x

I have had so much fun playing with different mediums, card stock etc
and now have tons of backgrounds to use at a later date.
This is my card......
For the wrap technique I have used Bistre powders in Noir, water and glossy card.
I also tried starch and the effects where great too.
Whilst I was at it I tried Brusho's, Infusions and Lindy magical powders...
All unique and great....

I used the die cut fern, as a stencil and popped through black crackle
and enhanced with white antiquing cream.
The effect was subtle and added another layer of texture and interest.
The die cut fern has been double heat embossed with silver embossing powder.

I have used a fussy edged rectangle die cut
and stamped the sentiment in white.
Finishing off with silver embossing around the edge
and a small die cut heart with heat embossed frantage.
I loved the effect of this unique and fun technique.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Challenges I would love to enter....
CAS Mix Up Challenge for this month is Cling Wrap...
I have stamped and my choice is stencil, crackle, heat embossing die cutting and frantage
Update...Thrilled with the shout out for my card...Thank you x
I have gone with the optional colour twist of Silver....
Craft Stamper - Anything goes
AAA Cards - The theme for the CAS style is Chilled...
I thought my background looked like cracked ice, cold,
chilled blue/black tones in colour and the cold silver...
CASology - Cue word is Glimmer

Hello Mac, once again amazed me with the beauty of your card. Your background has so many colors and textures ... I admire your two, so different branches of ferns. Everything is wonderfully combined with colors. And I love this beautiful glass heart. Have I already told you that you are a genius artist?

oooooooooooooooooh! more gorgeousnees here M. Love the result you got with the cling wrap. What makes this a standout is that wonky die. The texture you have here is amazing. So love the silver/grey tones and amazing layout. Love that feather. Nice finish with the wee heart. Still picking myself up after your last post with the 'other' feathers.

So pleased to see you over the 'bug' and stamping & blogging once again. Oh my, you've embraced the cling technique most beautifully. This metallic fern card is just magnificent. So much shimmer & love the negative space topped with the silvery-fern. Doesn't the starch give a nice scent as you spray it on. I don't have any of the Bisters, but I do have some infusions that I want to try with this. Also the Lindy's magical powders and sprays. YOu just never know how it's gonna turn out. The colors on this were so amazing, and it's a really impressive design layout too. You aced this one Mac! TFS & Hugs

This is so cool, Mac! I totally agree with Julia - this is like a stunning glacier in the Arctic. The stenciled fern echoes the heat-embossed fern and yet their textures are so different. Great visual interest! The silver embossed fussy edges go so well the ferns and the cling wrap wrinkle marks. And I love the small heat-embossed heart. It adds a drop of charm to the icy scene. What a stunning piece of artwork and the colours look absolutely amazing. I occasionally have days where I just take out lots of different mediums to play with. I have the time of my life but usually loose my desk in the process, I end up working in about 6x6 inches of space! Your work has gone from strength to strength and just like you said....It's always a pleasure to visit. Be happy, Sandra x
