Chill.......

Hope all is well with you?
It's been awhile but here is today's card....
I love joining in the CAS Watercolour Challenge and their theme this month is...
It's not that I have not been thinking what to do all month but where does time go?
I was inspired by the colours over at Inspired By All The Little Things....
The glorious copper and the beautiful aqua
I needed a Masculine Birthday card....
I have used Brusho's for the background as my watercolour.
I die cut the Man silhouette to use as a stencil.
I mixed translucent paste with dark pigment powders to pop through the stencil.
As they where Lindy powders and often contain 'other' colours
it looks like the man has a tie, squiffy around his neck!

The stencil work on the left has been done with coloured paste,
copper paste and copper embossing powder.
I finished off with stamping and heat embossing the sentiment in copper.
I enjoyed the using the techniques on this card
and challenging myself with the two challenges.
Thank you so much for finding time to stop by....
Crafty Hugs x
Challenge I would like to pop my card across too....
CAS Watercolour Challenge - Brusho's as my water colour and stencil and paste for my silhouette
Update...Thrilled to have been chosen as an outstanding design for this card...I loved the challenge x
Inspired By All The Little Things - Loved the colour of the copper and the aqua
Watercooler Wednesday Challenge - Penny's Masculine anything goes
Update- I was lucky to get a win with this card-Thank you so much for choosing me as your your watercooler rockstar this week x

This is such a cool masculine birthday card, Mac! I especially love the watercoloured background and the stencilled border.
When I see awesome cards, I ask myself if I can make them by myself, but I can't for this card! It's far beyond my crafting skills!!! It's quite an art work. Hideko :-)

Great design !! You were cleverly using die to create a template. Unexpected pigment powder effect - this is a stunning final effect. I love your male card. Thank you for inspiration, I always have trouble with the idea of a male card.

Two fabulous cards for these two great challenges Mac. I love your spotlight flowers and the way you have built up the levels using the rectangles at different heights using such pretty colours, and your self made stencil is great, and the copper colour goes beautifully with the blue and brown tones of the Brushos in the background, and love that mosaic edge. x
