Love You.....

CASology is celebrating their 5th year anniversary
with a Balloon blog hop...
Congratulations to you and the Talented Team.......
This is my clean and simple card.......
The penguins have been stamped with my trusty Misti
to achieve the depth of black.
I did my first attempt with clear heat embossing
but my card warped and I didn't want layers...
Why is it that when I have to do a one layer card (or nearly) for a challenge I struggle
and then when I don't have to, then I very much enjoy the process?
Finished with glossy accents on the balloon and a little white mica powder.

Thank you for the wonderful CAS inspiration from the team
and thank you for the fun Balloon blog hop x
Thank you for stopping by, I really do appreciate it.
Crafty Hugs xx
Challenges I would like to pop my card into.......
Both of the stamps are old and never used.....shameful x

What a great card Mac my friend! Love those sweet penguins and the look of love on the mama penguins face! AS for your question about why OLC turn out better when you are just doing it for fun . . . I believe that it's the knowing you HAVE to do it and the pressure makes us 'muck up', I always find the same! Have a great week! Love & Hugs. Hazel xx

This is adorable, and that sweet image doesn't need a mass of embelishments to make it pop. Perfect x

Stunning card with a touch of Banksy about it.

Even when I want to I can never get a one layer card either, sigh. I think the matting really makes this special and the clear embossing would be so pretty in person. Love it! Hugs, Autumn

What a wonderful CAS card. The black and white palette is so elegant and then that pop of red in the balloon is amazing!! I think I fell in love instantly with that image, just tugged right on my heart strings! Loving this one Mac! hugs :)

You are a master in Mix Media and in CAS. These are different techniques but you are excellent in both. I love the monochrome nature of the card, and the addition of color to one elemant makes it so distinctive. You are so smart in making your cards.
Hugs,

I know exactly what you mean about the heat embossing. It's so frustrating when you get a great impression and then the card buckles. I quite often press mine in a thick book but it's never perfect. Your card is lovely. The Penguins are so sweet and they are stamped beautifully. I've just treated myself to a Stamping Platform and I love it. I hardly throw any card in the bin these days:). Your card is beautifully clean and simple and I love the burst of red from the balloon too. Crafty hugs, Sandra x
