Hugs and Kisses

Another card from my crafty day on Thursday....
Today's card.....
I love playing with gels/pastes and stencils so the challenge over at
CAS Mix Up is right up my street....
Stamping/Embossing Pastes/Gels and your choice.
I used a flower stencil and sponged on gold paint.
Once it was dry I moved the stencil a  little
and then scraped through embossing gel with glitter in it.
I am not good with loose glitter.....
I die cut the Hugs sentiment in gold and ivory and
stamped the 'and kisses' sentiment in gold.
The gold around the edge of the card is heated embossing powder.
The photos look like a yellow gold but IRL looks a little softer.
I made this card for my BIL and SIL's Wedding Anniversary x

I had the pleasure of attending a fabulous workshop with the
amazing Jo Firth recently.
We played with her new Paper Artsy stamps and made a gorgeous canvas.
Whilst there I also bought this gorgeous flower stencil,
also from the JoFy collection, which I love x

Thank you so much for finding time to stop by...I really do appreciate it.

Thank you for playing along with the STAMPlorations CAS Challenge. We hope to see you back again soon! Karola, DT, InvisiblePinkCards

  19. Your husband will be delighted with this wonderful card. I love delicate golden glow. Adding glitter paste after a gentle stencil shift is a very clever idea. This allows you to see the golden elements, and the brocade looks like a delicate hoarfrost. This is an amazing combination. Thank you for this incredible inspiration.
