Christmas Stag

I was inspired by several challenge today to make this card.
The background has been stamped and heat embossed in white EP
and blended using distress inks. The embossing gives a texture feel to the card.
The red strip has been stamped with a script stamp and blended with black ink.
The outside zig zag has been stamped in versamark and heated embossed in white and black.

The tag has been die cut and freehand white lines added around the edge.
The hole for the tag has been masked, stamped with the script and twine threaded through.
The stag has been stenciled using white embossing paste.
The hardware I've used is the white and metal brads and the number 25.
I have used frantage embossing enamel on the number 25
to achieve the look as I was looking for.
I was pleased how the challenges came together and that's one more Christmas card done x

I will be entering the card into the following challenges......

Fantastic card Mac! Lots of wonderful elements that all come together into one beautiful card. I'm really impressed with how you did the stitching ... embossing it in different colours. I would have have been able to do that without messing it up. Great job! Thanks for playing along at Happy Little Stampers.

I love everything about this card. The stag looks fabulous embossed in white on the Kraft card as it really make the image stand out as the focal point. I like the masculine looking background and the strip of red across the middle gives a nice, vintage feel. The heat embossed stitching around the edge just finishes it off beautifully. It mast have taken you ages to produce this wonderful card but it's definitely worth your time and effort x
